  • Patent number: 10316907
Abstract: A brake apparatus stops a rotor of an external-rotor motor that drives the head or a joint of a home robot. Frictional torque is generated when a friction pad presses a rotor surface even when a power source is switched off. A posture of a moving part, such as the head, of the robot is not abruptly disturbed even though the power source is switched off. Since a light external force is applied to the moving part of the robot in the off state of the power source, a motion in a direction desired by the user takes places without being stiff. The motion of the head of the robot stops when the external force is removed. An intention of the user who touches the robot may be satisfied even when the power source of the robot is switched off.

  • Patent number: 10297860
Abstract: Provided are a lithium secondary battery including a cathode, an anode, a separator, and a gel polymer electrolyte, wherein i) the anode includes a silicon (Si)-based anode active material, ii) the gel polymer electrolyte is formed by polymerizing a composition that includes a monomer having a functional group bondable to metal ions, and iii) a charge voltage of the battery is in a range of 3.0 V to 5.0 V. Since the lithium secondary battery of the present invention may prevent the movement of metal ions dissolved from a cathode to an anode or reduce the precipitation of metal on the anode, the lifetime of the battery may not only be improved but capacity characteristics of the battery may also be excellent even in the case in which the battery is charged at a high voltage as well as normal voltage.

  • Publication number: 20190133922
Abstract: The present invention relates to exosomes with an increased amount of growth factors, which are obtained from stem cells cultured in a medium containing an epithelial growth factor (EGF) and/or a fibroblast growth factor (FGF). It is expected that the nano-sized exosomes isolated from a stem cell culture liquid can penetrate into the dermal layer of the skin and thereby increase their regenerative effect. In addition, since exosomes contain a large amount of various growth factors, they provide effects such as skin regeneration and anti-aging, promotion of collagen synthesis, hair growth, restoration of shrunken hair follicles, and wound healing through proliferation and activation of fibroblasts, which are skin component cells.
