The ceramic element is disposed on the first end surface. The pedestal is disposed on the ceramic element. The disassembling device includes a main body and at least one pushing element. The main body is disposed on the second end surface and has a through hole. The at least one pushing element penetrates the through hole and pushes against the ceramic element and pedestal to separate the ceramic element and pedestal from the first end surface of the base.

Abstract: A method for minimizing handoff latencies when a handoff is performed in a wireless network. An access point (AP) or base station associated to a current wireless station (STA) allows information required for a reassociation to the STA to be propagated to handoff-capable neighboring APs or base stations. When the STA moves, a neighboring AP or base station performs the reassociation to the STA on the basis of context. When a handoff procedure is performed, the time taken to receive context of a corresponding STA is reduced, such that a fast handoff can be implemented.

Abstract: There is provided an LCD (liquid crystal display device) having a function of temperature maintenance. The LCD includes: a liquid crystal panel having a common heating electrode and a temperature detection unit formed in a predetermined region of the liquid crystal panel, for detecting a temperature of the liquid crystal panel and controlling a current applied to the common heating electrode.

Abstract: A method for effectively implementing real time multimedia data transmission in an Ethernet network that operates in a CSMA/CD (Carrier Sense Multiple Access/Collision Detect) scheme. Real time data gets priority over general data, and uses an MPCP (Multi-Point Control Protocol) of the IEEE 802.3ah EPON to prevent a collision from occurring in real time data transmission, and also prevents delay time variation. An RT-IFG (Real Time Inter-Frame Gap) is defined for real time data, shorter than an IFG, to give priority to the real time data over general Ethernet data. The MPCP is used for transmission of real time data without collision between the real time data.

Abstract: A device and method to monitor and temperature compensate change in wavelength within a WDM optical communication system is disclosed. The device includes a laser diode for generating an optical signal for temperature monitoring, a first fiber Fabry-Perot interferometer sensor unit for generating a first sensor signal according to temperature by means of the optical signal, and a processor for monitoring temperature by means of the first sensor signal and an externally provided second sensor signal and equalizing waveforms of the two sensor signals with each other. The externally provided second sensor signal is provided by a remote node that includes a second fiber Fabry-Perot interferometer sensor unit for receiving the optical signal for temperature monitoring to generate the second sensor signal according to temperature, and a waveguide grating router unit for transmitting the second sensor signal to the optical line terminal.

Abstract: A method quickly resuming a downlink service in a hard handover in a cellular mobile communication system. To provide the fast downlink service to an MS during a hard handover from an OBS to an NBS, the NBS receives handover user information from the OBS, and generates an MS temporary ID using the handover user information to identify the MS. If user data is generated for the MS before a connection is established for traffic transmission between the MS and the NBS, the NBS transmits the user data to the MS on an HCCH using the MS temporary ID.

Abstract: There is provided a method of fabricating a split-gate flash memory cell using a spacer oxidation process. An oxidation barrier layer is formed on a floating gate layer, and an opening to expose a portion of the floating gate layer is formed in the oxidation barrier layer. Subsequently, a spacer is formed on a sidewall of the opening with a material layer having insulation property by oxidizing, and an inter-gate oxide layer pattern between a floating gate and a control gate is formed in the opening while the spacer is oxidized by performing an oxidation process.

Abstract: A method of fabricating a flash memory cell having a split gate structure. A sacrificial layer is formed on a floating gate layer formed on a semiconductor substrate. The sacrificial layer is etched to form an opening exposing a portion of the floating gate layer. A gate interlayer insulating layer pattern is formed inside the opening. After removing the sacrificial layer pattern and etching the floating gate layer (using the gate interlayer insulating layer pattern as an etch mask), a floating gate is formed under the gate interlayer insulating layer pattern. A control gate is formed overlapping a portion of the floating gate.

A C-PNC (Child Piconet Coordinator) device includes a C-MIB (Child Piconet Management Information Base) stores mapping information associated with devices located in the child piconet and a P-MIB (Parent Piconet Management Information Base) stores mapping information associated with devices located in a parent piconet. At least one second device is located in the parent piconet. The first device includes a C-MIB and a first B-MIB (Bridging Management Information Base), detects destination information of data using the mapping information stored in the first B-MIB to transmit data to a device located in the parent piconet, and transmits the data containing the detected information to the C-PNC device.

Abstract: Provided are a method of forming a bump whose upper surface is substantially flat and whose area can be enlarged in a uniform pad pitch to simplify mounting a liquid crystal display drive IC (LDI) and a semiconductor chip and a mount structure using the method to minimize a pad area inside the chip. Thus, the pad area on an edge of a conventional chip is minimized and the bump is formed in a substantially flat location inside the chip and an electrical connection between the pad and the bump is performed by a redistribution metal line.
