  • Patent number: 7170474
Abstract: In an address driving circuit including a power recovery circuit, an energy charged in an external capacitor is established to be greater than an energy discharged from the external capacitor. As a result, a voltage of the external capacitor is increased to an address voltage to automatically stop a power recovery operation in the case of displaying a full white pattern. Further, to perform the power recovery operation in the cases of the dot on/off pattern and the line on/off pattern, the voltage of the external capacitor reaches an equilibrium state between the half the address voltage and the address voltage.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a data packet from a mobile node to a correspondent node through a foreign agent while maintaining security is disclosed. A correspondent node transmits a first data packet for communication with a mobile node to the home agent. Upon receipt of the first data packet from the home agent, the foreign agent transmits the first data packet to the mobile node through a radio channel. The home agent transmits the IP address of the foreign agent to the correspondent node after transmitting the first data packet to the foreign agent. The correspondent node transmits tunneling indication information indicating whether it can decapsulate a data packet encapsulated by the foreign agent to the foreign agent after receiving the IP address of the foreign agent from the home agent.

  • Publication number: 20060275254
Abstract: Disclosed is a novel use of an immunoglobulin Fe fragment, and more particularly, a pharmaceutical composition comprising an immunoglobulin Fe fragment as a carrier. The pharmaceutical composition comprising an immunoglobulin Fe fragment as a carrier remarkably extends the serum half-life of a drug while maintaining the in vivo activity of the drug at relatively high levels. Also, when the drug is a polypeptide drug, the pharmaceutical composition has less risk of inducing immune responses compared to a fusion protein of the immunoglobulin Fe fragment and a target protein, and is thus useful for developing long-acting formulations of various polypeptide drugs.

  • Publication number: 20060258194
Abstract: A portable terminal having a motion detection function and a motion detection method for the portable terminal are provided. A motion of the portable terminal is input by measuring an acceleration along the X-, Y- and Z-axes of the portable terminal. A current posture of the portable terminal is calculated by calculating rotation angles along the X- and Z-axes with respect to the X- and Z-axes in a basic posture using the acceleration along the X-, Y- and Z-axes. The acceleration along each axis is converted to an equivalent basic-posture acceleration along each axis using the rotation angles. The detected motion of the portable terminal is recognized using the basic-posture acceleration along each axis.

  • Publication number: 20060256082
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a method for providing motion information for motion recognition mode to user in a portable terminal. In the method, when using the motion recognition mode, the first notification is provided. It is determined if the sensed gesture of the user can be recognized. If the gesture cannot be recognized, the second notification is provided. If the user's gesture can be recognized, the motion recognition of the gesture is performed and compared with pre-registered gestures in the portable terminal. If the gesture is not a registered gesture, the third notification is provided. If the recognized gesture is registered, a function corresponding to the recognized gesture is selected and performed. The above method enables a user to effectively utilize a portable terminal equipped with motion recognition capabilities.
