Abstract: An apparatus for correcting an inertial sensor includes an inertial sensor module, a storage module and a control module. The inertial sensor module measures angular velocity and acceleration of an object moving in a space. The storage module stores predetermined operation information and parameters required to correct the measured acceleration. The control module calculates motion velocity from the measured acceleration using the operation information and the parameters, and corrects the calculated motion velocity for each interval between zero-angular-velocity time instances at which angular velocity about an arbitrary axis is “0”.

Abstract: A motion-based sound setting apparatus and method and motion-based sound generating apparatus and method. The motion-based sound setting apparatus includes a mode selection recognizing unit, a motion sensing unit, a motion pattern recognizing unit, and a sound signal setting controlling unit. The mode selection recognizing unit recognizes a user's action with respect to a sound setting mode or a sound generating mode. The motion sensing unit senses a motion of a predetermined device and outputting a result of the sensing as a sensing signal. The motion pattern recognizing unit recognizes a motion pattern of the predetermined device, which corresponds to the sensing signal, in response to a result of the recognition made by the mode selection recognizing unit. The sound signal setting controlling unit sets a sound signal corresponding to the motion pattern recognized by the motion pattern recognizing unit.

Abstract: A method and system for providing a private voice call service to a mobile subscriber are provided. A soft switch in a mobile communication system, upon receipt of an origination message including a private voice request information from a calling MS, transmits to a VPN server a private circuit service request message including a service ID for the private voice call service and the network address information of a caller and called. The VPN server establishes a communication path for edge routers connected to calling and called gateways according to network address information. Thus, voice traffic is transmitted between the calling MS and called MS though the communication path of the VPN.

Abstract: A digital photo managing apparatus and method, and a recording medium readable by computer. The digital photo managing apparatus includes: an attribute information generating unit which generates specified attribute information for given photo data; a storage unit which stores the attribute information and the given photo data by having the attribute information as an address; an attribute information inserting unit which inserts the attribute information in the given photo data, and prints the photo data including the attribute information to generate a photo; a reading unit which reads the photo and detects the attribute information; and a photo data searching unit which reads out the stored photo data which has attribute information within a pre-set degree of association with the detected attribute information as an address from the stored photo data.

Abstract: A device for aligning a substrate and a mask, and a method using the same, where the device includes aligning marks in unused portions of the substrate and the mask, a sensing unit for determining overlap of the aligning marks when the substrate is aligned with the mask, and a control unit for controlling an aligning process to be repeated on the basis of data sensed and determined by the sensing unit. The sensing unit may include a camera positioned in photographic range to determine any alignment error in the alignment marks. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the alignment error between the substrate and the mask is sensed to determine whether it is acceptable or not. When the alignment error is unacceptable, the operations for aligning the substrate with the mask are repeated until the alignment error is acceptable.

Abstract: An apparatus for transferring an upright tray at high speeds that can sense an entrance and discharge of the tray. The apparatus includes a transferring unit with pulleys driven by a driving source to form a transferring path. The pulleys contact a fixing member, which is attached to a lower edge of a substrate and mask fixed to the tray. The apparatus also includes a sensing unit with a sensor installed beneath the transferring path to detect the entrance and discharge of the tray. The apparatus may also include rollers disposed to contact both sides of the upper portion of the tray, and the rollers may be coupled with moveable members encased within rails along the transferring path so that the rollers can translate when a tray passes between two rollers. The rollers along both sides of the tray can be arranged symmetrically or alternately in a zigzag pattern.

The apparatus includes a contact sensing unit which senses an area of an external surface of the portable terminal contacted by a user as the user holds the portable terminal, a recognizing unit which recognizes a function mode of the portable terminal based on information about the contacted area sensed by the contact sensing unit, and a control unit which changes the portable terminal to a function mode recognized by the recognizing unit. Since a function mode of the portable terminal is controlled according to the way a user holds the portable terminal, convenience of changing a function mode of the portable terminal is provided through a single manipulation.

Abstract: A cathode ray tube comprising a panel having a complex curvature at an outer surface of the panel such that the complex outer surface curvature satisfies a condition “ 0.5 ? Rx + Ry 2 × Rd ? 0.9 ” , where “Rx” represents a radius of the outer surface curvature of the panel along a longer axis of the panel, “Ry” represents a radius of the outer surface curvature of the panel along a shorter axis of the panel, and “Rd” represents a radius of the outer surface curvature of the panel along a diagonal axis of the panel. In accordance with this complex curvature, it is possible to reduce the weight of the panel while eliminating generation of an image distortion phenomenon and providing desired apparent flatness. It is also possible to easily design the curvature of the inner surface of the panel and the curvature of a shadow mask used in the cathode ray tube, and thus, to achieve an improvement in doming characteristics and an improvement in drop characteristics.

The method of the present invention is characterized in that hard polymer seed is fed into a polymerization reactor equipped with a condenser before the commencement of polymerization and that the condenser is operated from the start of the polymerization, so that the condensate containing the conjugated diene compound is fed into the polymerization reactor with the commencement of the polymerization. In accordance with the method for preparing rubber latex of the present invention, it is possible to prepare core-shell type rubber latex capable of maximizing surface grafting ratio of rubber latex without sacrificing uniformity of polymerization system and particle stabilization and prepare resin having superior impact resistance, coloring property and appearance property(luster), when applied to ABS resins.
