    Abstract: An osteogenic support device for an orthodontic treatment comprises a platform, lower and upper projections extending downwardly and upwardly from the platform. The upper projection is substantially tapered from the platform toward a cap. The upper protection has a through opening substantially perpendicular to an axis of the lower projection. A first end of the elastic wire is hooked between the cap and the platform, and a second end of the elastic wire is hooked with an orthodontic wire which links each bracket attached on teeth of the orthodontic patient.

    Abstract: A layer-by-layer etching apparatus and an etching method using a neutral beam which enables to control etching depth to an atomic level by controlling the etching of each atom of a material layer to be etched under precise control of the supply of an etching gas and irradiation of the neutral beam and enables to minimize etching damage. In the layer-by-layer etching method, a substrate to be etched, on which a layer to be etched is exposed, is loaded on a stage in a reaction chamber. An etching gas is supplied into the reaction chamber to adsorb the etching gas on the surface of an exposed portion of the layer to be etched. Excessive etching gas remaining after being adsorbed is removed. A neutral beam is irradiated on the layer to be etched on which the etching gas is adsorbed. Etch by-products generated by the irradiation of the neutral beam is removed.

    Abstract: An improved waterproofing system for the concrete slab of a flat roof on a building is disclosed. The waterproofing system uses hollow plastic panels of designed size, different thickness, and groove and tongue joints for interconnecting the panels. A supplementary waterproofing layer may be installed using sheet membrane materials such as asphalt sheet, metal sheet and other sheets on vertical surfaces, especially the parapet of the roof. The invention further concerns a construction method for applying a fiber mesh reinforcement on the connection joint and for applying fluid-applied materials on the substrate with sheet membrane layers on vertical surfaces. The waterproofing layer of sloped step type, hollow plastic panels of different thickness, permits fast drainage of stagnant water, which inhibits weather damage to the waterproofing layer.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of fusion for heteroepitaxial layers and overgrowth thereon. According to the present invention, a high quality heteroepilayer can be formed by patterning a fused semiconductor layer, overgrowing it with a persistent patterned character, and fusing other semiconductors having different lattice constants by means of utilizing the rate difference between the lateral growth rate and the vertical growth rate exhibited, on the above process. Further, according to the present invention, the lattice constant difference of the two semiconductors can be overcome and a high quality quantum structure can be formed. According to the present invention, the junction of two semiconductor materials having different lattice constants, as well as a good overgrowth on heteroepitaxial layers can be carried out. Accordingly to the present invention, the base material from which the new, as yet on realized, conceptive optoelectronic device can be made.

The upper diode dopant layer and the first lower diode dopant layer are formed to contact the floating diffusion layer. The digital camera forms image line data having a plurality of image line data units representing the original image to generate inverted unit images, and combines the inverted unit images to generate a partly inverted image file. In this case, the digital camera generates each inverted unit image by reversely storing the image line data by a predetermined number of the image line data units. Also, the digital camera reduces each of the image signals by a predetermined size. The image display terminal is rotatably connected with the digital camera. The image display terminal reversely recombines the inverted unit images included in the partly inverted image file, and generates a new image file including an inverted image to be displayed.

    Abstract: A power module package is provided. The power module package includes a power circuit element, a control circuit element, a lead frame, a heat sink, and an epoxy molding compound (EMC). The control circuit element is connected to the power circuit and controls chips in the power circuit. The lead frame has external connecting means formed at the edges thereof, and a down set part, namely, formed between the external connecting means. The lead frame has a first surface to which the power circuit and the control circuit are attached, and a second surface used as a heat dissipating path, in particular, the power circuit is attached to the down set part. The heat sink which is closely attached to the down set part of the second surface of the lead frame by an adhesive. The EMC surrounds the power circuit, the control circuit, the lead frame and the heat sink, and exposes the external connecting means of the lead frame and a side of the heat sink.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for forming copper interconnections of a semiconductor component using an electroless plating system, which enables copper to be grown only in corresponding interconnection regions. In such a method, a wafer is cleaned, the wafer is pretreated with a metal seed solution so as to cause spontaneous catalytic activation and simultaneously the process temperature is varied to grow metal seed particles from the metal seed pretreating solution, the wafer is cleaned to remove the metal seed from the wafer surface, and the wafer is finally plated with an electroless plating bath to grow copper in the metal seed formed regions. This method simplifies the processes and reduces process costs by substituting a wet process for the existing vacuum pretreating process. Also, a wafer planarization process can be omitted by selectively growing copper only in desired interconnections.
