Abstract: A method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving broadcasting data in a digital broadcasting system are provided. The method includes analyzing a media transmission characteristic of a moving picture experts group (MPEG) media transport (MMT) package, setting digital video broadcasting generic stream encapsulation (DVB GSE) based on the analyzed media transmission characteristic, and transmitting an MMT packet comprising the broadcasting data constituting the MMT package using the DVB GSE.

Abstract: Provided is a curvature-adjustable endotracheal tube. The curvature-adjustable endotracheal tube includes: a hollow cylindrical tube body configured to maintain a patient's airway; and a curvature-adjusting wire configured to allow an operator to freely adjust the curvature of the tube body to correspond to the curvature of the patient's airway into which the tube body is inserted. Both ends of the curvature-adjusting wire are respectively fixed to a distal portion and a proximal portion of the tube body such that the distal portion is pulled and bent when the proximal portion is bent by the operator.

Abstract: A terminal and method for receiving a broadcast service by the terminal in a broadcast system are provided. The method includes performing a registration procedure for subscription and reception of the broadcast service through a Browser And Content Mobile Broadcast (BSCAST) Subscription Management (BSM) responsible for managing subscription information; receiving a Long Term Key Message (LTKM), including key information for encryption of the broadcast service, generated from the BSM; receiving a completed Short Term Key Message (STKM), the completed STKM being generated by performing Message Authentication Code (MAC) processing on a partially created STKM; receiving, from a Broadcast Service Distribution/Adaptation (BSD/A) which is responsible for transmitting the broadcast service, an encrypted broadcast service which is encrypted by a Traffic Encryption Key (TEK) for deciphering the broadcast service; and deciphering the encrypted broadcast service by the TEK obtained using the LTKM and the completed STKM.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and a method for establishing a Personal Network (PN) by interconnecting a gateway device and various Consumer Electronics (CE) devices through a simple process in order to enable the CEs to receive various services. The method includes performing a physical pairing with surrounding devices by using Near Field Communication (NFC); finding a gateway device, which relays a service from the server, from among the paired devices; selecting a scheme for establishing a PN with the gateway device; and sending a request for connection with a PN according to the selected scheme to the found gateway device.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving a packet in a broadcasting and communication system are provided. The method and apparatus allows a receiver to recognize data in a packet lost due to data loss occurring in a network. To this end, Forward Error Correction (FEC) control-related information is generated, a packet including the generated FEC control-related information is generated, and the packet is transmitted. The FEC control-related information includes at least one of FEC configuration-related information and FEC encoding configuration-related information.

Abstract: A method for providing a notification message in a transmitter of a mobile broadcast system supporting an interaction channel is disclosed. Upon an occurrence of a notification event, a first means generates a notification message, and generates at least one delivery request message including a target address based on subscription information of the corresponding terminal, using the generated notification message. A second means determines a channel over which it will deliver a notification message to the corresponding terminal based on the target address, and delivers the notification message over the determined channel.

Abstract: A method and a system for distributing an encryption key for service protection and content protection in a mobile broadcasting system are provided where a network generates a first encryption key when a broadcasting service is first provided to the terminal, and transmits a long term key message including the generated first encryption key to the terminal. Also, the network generates a second encryption key before the lifetime of a first access value pair expires, and transmits a long term key message including the generated second encryption key to the terminal.

A method for reporting a consumption time of the service or the content in a terminal of a content transmission system includes receiving an encryption key for encrypting the service or the content from a broadcasting server and transmitting a message requesting interpretation of the encryption key to a smart card. The message includes consumption time information of the service or the content.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for providing a Control User Interface (CUI) by a terminal. A location of the terminal is identified. The CUI, including information corresponding to the location of the terminal, is displayed. A command for controlling a device is generated based on the displayed CUI. The command is transmitted to the device or to a server connected to the device. The information corresponding to the location of the terminal is received from the device or from the server.
