The apparatus includes a payload part including at least one of first data synchronized according to a time to be reproduced and second data other than the first data, a first header part including information on the payload part, a packet part for generating a packet, the packet part including a second header part including information on the packet, and a transceiver for generating and transmitting a signal including the payload part, the first header part, and the packet part to the hybrid network.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for transmitting a multimedia frame through a heterogeneous network in a broadcast system supporting a multimedia service based on an interne protocol are provided. The method includes generating header information including a frame identifier distinguishing a multimedia frame and information measuring a quality of a connection service between network layers and end-to-end network capabilities, and combining the header information and multimedia data to configure the multimedia frame.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a guide wire insertion device for a catheter procedure. The guide wire insertion device for a catheter procedure includes an injection unit (100) including an injection needle, and a guide wire transfer unit (200) which transfers a guide wire so as to insert the guide wire through the injection needle, and the injection unit and the guide wire transfer unit are integrated with each other so as to continuously perform injection of the injection needle and transfer of the guide wire. According to such a configuration, the injection of the injection needle and the insertion of the guide wire may be accurately and easily performed so that a catheter procedure is convenient.

Abstract: A remote management method for a terminal supporting a mobile broadcast service is provided. The terminal receives a service guide with a terminal function management condition from a mobile broadcast service broadcasting server, stores and processes the service guide, and delivers a service subscription request to the mobile broadcast service broadcasting server, receives a message with a Device Management (DM) command generated by a DM server, as the mobile broadcast service broadcasting server receiving the service subscription request sends a request for a DM command regarding a function and a management operation of a terminal to be managed, to the DM server, and stores the DM command and executes the DM command if a status of the terminal satisfies the terminal function management condition.

Abstract: A system and methods for providing a Control User Interface (CUI) for controlling a Networked Device (ND) with a Remote Controller (RC) are provided. A Service Provider (SP) receives capability information of the RC and CUI information from the ND, generates a reconfigured CUI based on a location of the RC from which to control the ND, and transmits the reconfigured CUI to the ND. The ND receives the reconfigured CUI from the SP and transmits the reconfigured CUI to the RC. The RC receives the reconfigured CUI from the ND and controls the ND with the reconfigured CUI.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a server for transmitting and receiving messages for a signaling (S) layer in MMT (Moving Picture Experts Group Media Transport), which includes a first sub-layer of the S layer for producing first messages to provide information necessary for the use of MPEG, a second sub-layer of the S layer for producing second messages to provide information used for delivering MPEG media, and a delivery (D) layer for making external and internal deliveries of the first and the second messages, wherein each of the first and the second messages includes at least one field corresponding to each of the message type, version, length, extension field and payload.

The method includes generating a media characteristic corresponding to a single media content component or aggregated media characteristics corresponding to a plurality of multimedia content components, obtaining information used for generating the data packet from the generated media characteristics or aggregated media characteristics, and generating the data packet based on the obtained information used for generating the data packet and transmitting the generated data packet.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing content in a broadcast system is provided. Upon receipt of a request for synchronization from a mobile terminal, a set-top box creates a recommended content list based on user information received from the mobile terminal and delivers the recommended content list to the mobile terminal. The set-top box receives from the mobile terminal a content list, selected from the recommended content list and included in a Personal Information Management System (PIMS) updated using the recommended content list. The set-top box determines whether a user of the mobile terminal intends to view content from the received content list at a start time of the content. Upon receipt of view acceptance information from the mobile terminal, the set-top box sends a request for the content to a service provider at the start time, receives the requested content from the service provider, and provides the received content to the mobile terminal.

Abstract: A broadcasting system for providing access information of a broadcast service, wherein a transmission apparatus generates the access information for at least one of a broadcast network and an interaction network, from which the broadcast service is transmitted, and transmits the access information to a terminal via a specific communication network. A reception apparatus receives the access information of the broadcast service via the communication network, analyzes the received access information to determine a network from which the broadcast service is provided, among the broadcast network and the interaction network, and sets an access address for reception of the broadcast service.

Abstract: A unified device management method and system for unified management of a fixed and mobile device includes a command execution controller which receives a device management command, sends a query message to the device, receives a response message transmitted by the device, creates a command execution policy based on the settings contained in the response message, and executes the device management command according to a policy, the device which generates and sends the response message to the command execution controller according to user inputs, and a remote access server which connects the device and the command execution controller by using a remote access protocol.

Abstract: A method for transmitting signaling information for reception of a broadcast service in a digital broadcasting system is provided. The method includes generating signaling information that includes a network information table indicating information about a transport network over which broadcast service data is transmitted, and a service information table indicating at least one broadcast service and information about at least one Physical Layer Pipe mapped to the at least one broadcast service, and transmitting the signaling information in a Generic Stream Encapsulation packet.

Abstract: A transmitting apparatus is provided. The transmitting apparatus includes: a baseband packet (BBP) generator configured to generate a BBP including a header and payload data; a frame generator configured to generate a frame including the BBP; a signal processor configured to signal-process the generated frame; and a transmitter configured to transmit the signal-processed frame. The header includes information about a type of the payload data, whether an additional header exists, a length of the payload data, and a Least Significant Bit (LSB) of the length of the payload data. Therefore, various types of data are mapped on a physical layer based on information included in the header, and data processing efficiency is improved.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving packets in a broadcasting system are provided. The present disclosure allocates a padding size field by using padding octets, and thus can increase transmission efficiency. Also, the present disclosure does not restrict the number of padding octets while maintaining compatibility with existing disclosures, and thus can carry out as much padding as desired and as necessary. In addition, the present disclosure variably allocates the padding size field depending on the number P of padding octets, and thus can increase header efficiency. Furthermore, since the number of padded octets in a header is immediately known, the size of an actual payload is known in advance, and thus rapid transmission is possible.
