  • Publication number: 20150139812
Abstract: A stationary blade includes a main unit having a hollow blade structure formed from a metal plate by plastic forming. The stationary blade includes a blade tail section. In a blade tail upper portion, the metal plate has a concave-shaped recess and a rib formed on an inner surface side thereof and the metal plate further has slits formed by slitting on a blade pressure side thereof, so that droplets affixed on a blade surface can be guided into an inside of the hollow blade when the blade tail section is joined to the hollow blade main unit. The recess in the metal plate is covered so as to be lidded by a suction-side protrusion of a suction-side metal plate from a blade suction side to thereby form a hollow blade tail section. The metal plates are welded together to the main unit.

  • Publication number: 20150037144
Abstract: A steam turbine stationary blade is configured to be a stationary blade structure having a hollow structure. The steam turbine stationary blade is provided with a slit disposed on a stationary blade surface. The pressure of a stationary blade hollow is reduced to suction a liquid film through the slit for removing the liquid film formed on the stationary blade surface. An opening portion of the slit is covered with a sheet in a meshed pattern formed of a fine mesh thereby reducing an accompanied steam amount so as to effectively remove the liquid film.

  • Patent number: 8448439
Abstract: An electric power plant supplies steam generated to a high-pressure turbine and a low-pressure turbine. The steam discharged from the low-pressure turbine is condensed with a condenser. Water generated with the condenser is heated with a low-pressure feed water heater and a high-pressure feed water heater. The steam extracted from the high-pressure turbine is supplied to the high-pressure feed water heater. The steam extracted from the low-pressure turbine is compressed with a steam compressor, and the steam whose temperature has been increased is then supplied to the high-pressure feed water heater. The feed water is heated in the high-pressure feed water heater by the steam extracted from the high-pressure turbine and the steam compressed with the steam compressor. Because the feed water is heated by the extracted steam and the compressed steam in the high-pressure feed water heater, the amount of power consumed by the steam compressor can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20110005225
Abstract: An electric power plant, e.g., a boiling water reactor nuclear power plant supplies steam generated in a nuclear reactor to a high-pressure turbine and a low-pressure turbine. The steam discharged from the low-pressure turbine is condensed with a condenser. Water generated with the condenser, used as feed water, flows through a feed water pipe, is heated with a low-pressure feed water heater and a high-pressure feed water heater, and then supplied to the nuclear reactor. The steam extracted from the high-pressure turbine is supplied to the high-pressure feed water heater. The steam extracted from the low-pressure turbine is compressed with a steam compressor, and the steam whose temperature has been increased is then supplied to the high-pressure feed water heater. The feed water to be directed to the nuclear reactor is heated in the high-pressure feed water heater by both the steam extracted from the high-pressure turbine and the steam compressed with the steam compressor.

  • Patent number: 7697106
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device of the present invention has a structure in which vertically aligned liquid crystal is sealed between a TFT substrate and a CF substrate. Pixel electrodes in which slits are provided are formed on the TFT substrate, while cell gap holding spacers and domain defining projections are formed on the CF substrate. For example, positive type photoresist is coated on a common electrode. Then, first exposure is executed by using a mask for light-shielding spacer forming regions and projection forming regions, and then second exposure is executed by using a mask for light-shielding the spacer forming regions. Then, the photoresist is developed. Accordingly, the spacers and the projections, each having a different height, can be formed simultaneously.
