  • Patent number: 7654094
Abstract: A turbine nozzle (2) that, among components constructing a turbine, reaches particularly high temperature is efficiently cooled with a relatively simple structure. A double casing structure in which a turbine casing (7) is provided outside a turbine shell (5) is formed. The turbine casing (7) functions as a flow path (24) for compressed air (20?21) before combustion. The turbine shell (5) covers a turbine nozzle (2) and a radial turbine impeller (3) and forms flow paths (15, 16) for combustion gas (10?11?12?13). The compressed air (21) before combustion flowing in the flow path (24), for compressed air, having air-tightness between itself and the outside air is blown to the turbine nozzle (2) through a through-hole (51) penetrating both wall surfaces of the turbine shell (5) so that the turbine nozzle (2) is evenly cooled and the compressed air used to cool the turbine nozzle is made to flow toward the turbine impeller (3).

  • Publication number: 20090224050
Abstract: A method for processing a digital signal obtained in a barcode reading operation comprises a step of applying a wavelet transformation to the digital signal. The noise threshold at each level of the wavelet transformation is determined from a total transfer function in the analogue processing stage, and the coefficients are set to be zero if less than the noise threshold.

  • Publication number: 20090107156
Abstract: In a heat pump system including a water purifier and an evaporator for evaporating feed-water to produce steam, water used for spray cooling is effectively used and productivity of purified water used for the spray cooling is increased. Discharged water from the water purifier is supplied to the evaporator when water used for spray cooling is produced by use of the water purifier. Otherwise, drain of the evaporator having higher temperature is supplied to the water purifier by using such a fact that in a reverse osmosis membrane type water purifier, the higher the temperature of feed-water is, the higher the purified water productivity becomes.

  • Publication number: 20090077943
Abstract: Provided is a gas turbine power plant in which a rotor of a generator is journalled by water lubrication bearings into which a part of cooling water for cooling the generator is fed. Since the lubrication water has a viscosity lower than that of lubrication oil, it is possible to provide a gas turbine power plant with less energy loss resulting in lower power consumption for accessories, and in high power generation efficiency.

  • Patent number: 7354000
Abstract: A method and system used in the barcode sensing process are disclosed, in which at least two instances of an optical signal are obtained from the same barcode in different time periods, and digitized by a first digitizer with a first threshold. The digitized results from the at least two instances are then applied with an AND algorithm to eliminate the noise, whereby create a correct digitized output. Preferably, the instances of the signal are also digitized by a second digitizer with a second threshold, which are used to synchronize the timing of the digitized results created by the first digitizer. The second threshold is preferably larger than the first threshold.
