  • Publication number: 20250215948
Abstract: An annular cantilever beam spring is capable of exhibiting low friction and hysteresis and stiffness and specifically stiffness/volume far exceeding currently available COTS springs. The spring includes first and second sets of N stand-offs evenly positioned around opposing top and bottom surfaces of a flat annular beam at 360/N degree intervals and angularly offset with respect to each other by 360/2N degrees such that each said stand-off is evenly spaced between adjacent pairs of stand-offs on the opposing surface. The first and second sets of stand-offs are responsive to opposing axial loads to deflect the flat annular beam axially at each stand-off in opposing directions to induce a curvature to the annular beam and store energy in the beam. The spring stiffness is determined by the elastic material properties of the flat annular beam, not the initial geometry as is common with the COTS springs.

  • Patent number: 12341813
Abstract: A system for detecting phishing websites accesses a website that comprises a plurality of images. The system extracts the plurality of images from the website. The system generates a hash value for each image from the plurality of images. Each hash value uniquely identifies its corresponding image. The system generates a first overall hash value for the website by hashing the generated hash values. The first overall hash value represents a signature of the website. The system compares the first overall hash value with a second overall hash value that is associated with a phishing website. The system determines whether the first overall hash value corresponds to the second overall hash value. If it is determined that the first overall hash value corresponds to the second overall hash value, the system determines that the website is associated with the phishing website.

  • Publication number: 20250195036
Abstract: A system and method for generating an ultrasound device interaction indicator representative of at least an orientation of an ultrasound device (230) relative to a subject (210). An acoustically translucent standoff layer (240) is positioned between the ultrasound device and the subject. Ultrasound echoes received by the ultrasound device, including ultrasound echoes from the standoff layer, are processed to determine a deformation of the standoff layer caused by an axial force or pressure exerted by the ultrasound device. The deformation of the standoff layer is used, along with characteristics of the standoff layer, to generate the ultrasound device interaction indicator.
