  • Publication number: 20230135826
Abstract: Organodifluorine synthons, in conjunction with three-component diastereoselective Anion Relay Chemistry (ARC), permit ready access to diverse difluoromethylene scaffolds. Initiated via [1,2]-addition of an organolithium reagent to a ?-difluoromethylene silyl aldehyde, an alkoxide intermediate is formed, which is capable of undergoing a [1,4]-Brook rearrangement to generate a stabilized ?-difluoromethylene carbanion, which upon electrophile capture, affords a three-component adduct. This three-component synthetic tactic represents an important one-pot divergent strategy for the construction of diverse organodifluorine containing compounds.

  • Publication number: 20230054962
Abstract: A forceps includes an end effector assembly having a stop and a plurality of overmold teeth within at least one jaw member. One (or both) of the jaw members is moveable relative to the other between a spaced-apart position and an approximated position for grasping tissue therebetween. One (or both) of the jaw members includes a stop molded within an insulative housing, and an insulator plate with the overmold teeth formed from plastic. The overmold teeth extend through openings within a sealing plate and protrude past the tissue sealing surface of the sealing plate. The stop primarily controls the gap distance between opposing jaw members by bearing most of an applied load and the overmold teeth assist in controlling the gap distance by bearing the remaining applied load.

  • Patent number: 11405697
Abstract: A programmable and universal video platform enabling digital ads from ad sales teams, online digital exchanges, demand side platforms or other digital video advertising aggregators, to be inserted into linear television cable programming feeds. Content programmers distribute a programming schedule file for each linear programming feed. This data is then combined in the traffic and billing system with the advertising insertion orders from the various sales channels to create a local ad insertion schedule file. This schedule file includes a planned ad spot, but a time-based approach to ad insertion allows the schedule file to be modified such that the planned ad spot can be replaced with a replacement ad selected using the VAST digital ad selection protocol. Detection of the standard cue message in the programming feed triggers insertion of the replacement ad from the modified schedule file.
