  • Publication number: 20090174258
Abstract: A built-in uninterruptible power supply system and an electronic device using the same are provided. The built-in uninterruptible power supply system supplies power to an electronic component of an electronic device. The built-in uninterruptible power supply system includes a power supply, a power storage, a power supply switch and a power display. The power supply switch electrically couples the power supply with the power storage. The power supply switch switches to transmit a first power or a second power to the electronic component. The power display is disposed in the casing and electrically coupled with the power storage for displaying a storage power of the power storage. When the external power source stops supplying power to the power supply, the power supply switch switches to transmit the second power from the power storage to the electronic component.

  • Publication number: 20070281573
Abstract: A method for manufacturing glue-pasting area of field emission display forms a plurality of elongated low walls on glue-pasting area of the anode plate or the cathode plate by printing. The elongated low wall includes a length side parallel with a package side of the display. The elongated low walls are arranged on the glue-pasting area in staggered and parallel fashion, where a first gap is defined between two adjacent elongated low walls and the first gap is a channel for overflow glue after the cathode plate is pressed with the anode plate. After the glass glue is pasted on the elongated low wall and the cathode plate is pressed with the anode plate, the overflow glue is constrained b the gap to control the width of glue.

  • Patent number: 7023430
Abstract: An electronic device has a cavity in which a stylus can be slidably inserted. The stylus has a retaining slot thereon. Being inserted in the cavity, the stylus firstly pushes a retainer to be moved resiliently. The stylus further presses on a stylus-releasing device that terminates the cavity, thereby engaging the stylus-releasing device in a stable configuration with a resilient force. Meanwhile the retainer inserts into the retaining slot of the stylus to hold and immobilize the stylus in the cavity. To extract the stylus, a short pressing action is exerted on the stylus, which disengages the stylus-releasing device from the stable configuration, thereby the stylus-releasing device exerts a resilient force on the stylus that is ejected partially out of the cavity to facilitate a grasp of the stylus.

  • Patent number: 6875934
Abstract: A keystroke structure (3) for an electronic device which includes a shell (2) defining an opening (22). The keystroke structure comprises a cap (32) made of hard plastics such as ABS resin, a flange (34) fixed to a bottom of a periphery of the cap, wherein the flange is made of a material, such as rubber which is more elastic than that for forming the cap. The cap has a portion extending upward through the opening. A rod (42) extends downwardly from a bottom of the cap. A switch assembly (4) consisting of four first switches (44) for cursor direction control and a second switch (46) for “enter” control. The first switches are activated by the rod when the cap is titled, and the second switch is activated by the rod when the cap is vertically depressed. When the cap is titled to activate one of the first switches, the flange engage with a bottom face of the shell.

  • Publication number: 20030067452
Abstract: To receive a stylus having a retaining slot thereon, the housing of an electronic device has a cavity in which the stylus can be slidably inserted. Being inserted in the cavity, the stylus contacts with a retainer that thereby resiliently deviates. The stylus further presses on a stylus-releasing device that terminates the cavity, thereby engaging the stylus-releasing device in a stable configuration in which resilient force is stored. Meanwhile the stylus engages the stylus-releasing device into the stable configuration, the retainer inserts into the retaining slot of the stylus to hold and immobilize the stylus in the cavity. To extract the stylus, a short pressing action is exerted on the stylus, which disengages the stylus-releasing device from the stable configuration, thereby the stylus-releasing device exerts a resilient force on the stylus that is ejected partially out of the cavity to facilitate a grasp of the stylus.

  • Publication number: 20020140684
Abstract: A stylus for personal digital assistants including a stylus's body and a stabilizer is provided. The stylus's body is elliptically cylindrical with oval cross-section and has a central line, while the stabilizer is located inside the stylus's body but deviates from the central line. Among which, the stabilizer is located on the major axis of the oval cross-section shifting the position of the center of gravity of the stylus off the central line. Thus the stylus acquires more stability and will not roll around when placed on the desktop, providing handiness and convenience for the user to pick it up from the desktop.
