  • Publication number: 20020033446
Abstract: A neutral beam processing apparatus and method uses a neutral beam having an enlarged diameter and an increased capacity with suppressed divergence. The charged particles of the neutral beam are removed and the variations in energy are reduced. In particular, an ion beam is led from a plasma production cell and neutralized in a neutralization cell to be converted to a neutral beam, and an object to be processed is disposed in a process cell that is irradiated with the neutral beam. A multi-aperture electrode and a permanent magnet line are used for separating charged particles from the neutral beam. By an interaction between an electron cyclotron magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet line and microwaves introduced from a waveguide, a plasma and a flat space potential is generated in the neutralization cell. The neutral beam is obtained by converting the ion beam in the flat space potential.

  • Patent number: 6352202
Abstract: A reader/writer (RW) requires identification information pieces of respective plural IC cards (A, B, C). The plural IC cards return the respective identification information pieces in response to the requirement by the reader/writer. Logical addresses are assigned to some IC cards among the plural IC cards respectively to cause the reader/writer to select them in response to the return of the identification information pieces by the plural IC cards. The IC cards selected by the reader/writer are controlled. The reader/writer cancels the assignment of the logical address to one of the selected IC cards. The logical address, the assignment of which has been canceled by the reader/writer, is assigned to an IC card among the plural IC cards to which any logical address has not been assigned yet. The IC card to which the logical address has just been assigned is controlled.

  • Patent number: 6276131
Abstract: While the amount of intake air introduced into an internal combustion engine is being increased by an intake air quantity control unit, an ignition timing control unit manipulates the ignition timing of the internal combustion engine to converge the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine to a target rotational speed according to a feedback control process (PI control process). The ignition timing control unit has a function to vary the feedback gain of the feedback control process depending on the ignition timing, such that the feedback gain is smaller as the ignition timing being manipulated is more retarded.

  • Patent number: 6195988
Abstract: An object system for generating an output signal of an O2 sensor from a target air-fuel ratio is expressed as a model including a response delay element and a dead time element. Data of identified values of parameters of the model are sequentially generated by an identifier.
