  • Publication number: 20060181073
Abstract: A tongue presenter device is configured to improve handling and smoothness while pulling or taking a tongue and to remove any discomfort felt by an occupant when a belt conveying member is set to a tongue grasping position. As a motor rotates when the belt conveying member of a tongue presenter device is in a tongue storage position, an externally threaded shaft rotates so that a lever supporting member moves in a direction toward the front of a vehicle. During this, the lever is kept in its inclined posture so that the belt conveying member moves forward while keeping its level/position lower than a seat surface. As the belt pin reaches a sloping portion of the guide slot, the lever takes a standing posture and the belt conveying member is set to a tongue grasping position higher than the seat surface.

  • Patent number: 7092331
Abstract: The present invention provides an audio data recording medium reproducer, wherein CPU 10 which writes audio data read by reader 11 into buffer memory 13 and buffer memory controller 21 which transfers the data to buffer memory 22 and inputs it into DAC 23 at a predetermined data rate are connected by a bus, and furthermore, CPU 20 for controlling a user interface is separately provided. Provision of a plurality of such simple controllers reduces costs to be lower than in the case of providing one high-performance controller. Furthermore, it also becomes possible to separately construct the respective functional parts as units.

  • Publication number: 20060177587
Abstract: An optical compensatory sheet producing apparatus produces an optical compensatory sheet having a liquid crystal layer. In the apparatus, a rubbing unit is supplied with resin film having a first layer including resin, and subjects the first layer to a rubbing process, so as to form an orientation layer. A dust remover removes dust from the orientation layer by use of liquid such as perfluorocarbon, to which the orientation layer is insoluble. A liquid crystal layer coater is disposed downstream from the dust remover, for coating the orientation layer with coating liquid including liquid crystalline compound, so that the liquid crystal layer is formed.

  • Patent number: 7061837
Abstract: Audio data are read out, via an ATAPI interface, from an audio CD set in a CD drive. Thus, even where an inexpensive low-speed CPU is used, high-speed copying can be performed. When audio data stored on a hard disk are to be reproduced, and if copying authorization/inhibiting information indicates that coping of the audio data should be inhibited, the audio data are output, via a digital audio interface, with a copying-inhibiting subcode imparted to the data. Further, when the audio data stored on the hard disk are written to a CDR media set in the CD drive, the audio data on the hard disk are erased in correspondence with the writing of the digital audio data to the CDR media. With such a copying restricting feature, it is possible to provide a digital-audio-signal recording apparatus that can be properly used as consumer equipment.

  • Publication number: 20060113785
Abstract: A seatbelt apparatus installed in a motor vehicle, including a tongue retrieval assisting device to assist the occupant in retrieving a tongue supported by the seatbelt. The tongue retrieval assistance device may include a rod for conveying a tongue to a tongue retrieval position, in which the rod is telescopically and extendably composed of three rod members. Force applied to the rod and an attaching portion of the rod can be suppressed even when an occupant comes into contact with the conveying device.

  • Publication number: 20060108786
Abstract: A tongue retrieval system is configured to automatically transfer a tongue receiving member and, therefore, a tongue to a tongue retrieval position from a tongue storing position. The tongue receiving member is transferred from the tongue storing position to the tongue retrieval position when a rod is extended on the basis of a seating signal from a seating sensor and a door-close signal from a door sensor. The tongue receiving member is returned to the tongue storing position when the rod is retracted on the basis of a tongue retrieval signal from a tongue retrieval sensor or a tongue engagement signal from the buckle switch. The tongue retrieval system also improves the ease by which the tongue is handled and the likelihood that the tongue will be successfully retrieved.

  • Publication number: 20050243057
Abstract: Upon receipt of an IR code from a remote controller, a peripheral device control apparatus generates, on the basis of peripheral device control information acquired from a server, a code for causing a peripheral device, which is an object of remote control by the control apparatus, to perform an operation as instructed by the received IR code, and then the control apparatus outputs the generated code as an IR code via an infrared ray generation section. In this way, the peripheral device control apparatus can readily control any one of a plurality of types of peripheral devices, in response to a user just giving an operation signal to a single input section.

  • Patent number: 6909054
Abstract: A multilayer printed circuit board has an IC chip 20 included in a core substrate 30 in advance and a transition layer 38 provided on a pad 24 of the IC chip 20. Due to this, it is possible to electrically connect the IC chip to the multilayer printed circuit board without using lead members and a sealing resin. Also, by providing the transition layer 38 made of copper on the die pad 24, it is possible to prevent resin residues on the pad 24 and to improve connection characteristics between the pad 24 and a via hole 60 and reliability.

  • Publication number: 20050090918
Abstract: Audio data which are read out from a compact disc drive are written into a hard disk drive (6) at a rate that is higher than an audio playback rate. The written audio data are read out at a rate which is higher than the audio playback rate, and then output to audio output interfaces (buffer memories). The audio output interfaces read out the audio data at the playback rate and output the data. Since the hard disk drive (6) can perform reading/writing at a rate which is sufficiently higher than the playback rate of audio data, monitoring is enabled while performing ripping.

  • Publication number: 20050039623
Abstract: An initiator employs ignition powder which can be manufactured easily, which can be handled safely, and which is stored in a cup of the initiator. Pins are inserted into and secured to holes of a header in the initiator. Distal end surfaces of the pins are flush with a distal end surface of the header; an insulative membrane is disposed so as to cover the distal end surface of one of the pins. When a high-voltage is applied between the pins, the membrane is destroyed and plasma is created. Further, when a subsequent low-voltage is applied between the pins, plasma is continuously generated. The ignition powder initiates its reaction by heat of the plasma.
