A processing unit receives input on expected demand and shipment time of feed produced from the feed insect, calculates a growth rate of the feed insect, required from the current farm according to input expected demand and shipment time and the detected growth and development state, and reads a combination of environmental factors from the database in consideration of the detected environmental factor and the calculated growth rate. A control unit controls growth of the feed insect by adjusting a growth and development control factor corresponding to each environmental factor according to the combination of environmental factors from the processing unit.
