The current optimization with maximum sensitivity may be performed for several critical battery electrochemical parameters, namely a solid-phase lithium diffusion coefficient, a volume fraction of the electrode active material, and a reaction rate constant. The electrochemical parameter may be reliably identified using the optimal current profile.
