  • Patent number: 7207598
Abstract: In the occupant protection device according to the present invention, a restraint body joined with a driving mechanism is located near a target area of a seated occupant while being surrounded by an interior decoration member. Upon predicting a collision of the vehicle, the driving mechanism is actuated to protrude the restraint body from an opening in the interior decoration member for restraining the movement of the target area upon collision by its side facing the occupant, and when the collision is avoided, the driving mechanism returns the protruded restraint body in the opening of the interior decoration member. The restraint body is provided in the vicinity of its outer periphery with a retaining hole, a clip to be inserted in and retained by the retaining hole, and a guide surface for guiding the clip into the retaining hole for helping the restraint body to return in the opening of the interior decoration member.

  • Publication number: 20060285413
Abstract: A refresh signal is output in response to a refresh request generated at predetermined cycles, and a refresh operation is performed. The refresh operation ends when a conflict occurs between an access request and the refresh request. Consequently, an access operation corresponding to the access request can be started earlier with a reduction in access time. The access time can be reduced further by changing the end time of the refresh operation in accordance with the timing of supply of the access request. Since a test circuit for notifying the state of the refresh operation to exterior is formed, the operation margin of the refresh operation can be evaluated in a short time. As a result, it is possible to reduce the development period of the semiconductor memory.

  • Patent number: 7114025
Abstract: A semiconductor memory includes a refresh timer and an arbiter for determining the order of precedence between an access operation and a refresh operation, in order to automatically perform refresh operations inside the memory. A detecting circuit operates in a test mode and outputs a detection signal indicating that the refresh operation is yet to be performed, when a new internal refresh request occurs before the refresh operation is performed. For example, the detection signal is output when the interval of access requests is short and no refresh operation can be inserted between the access operations. That is, in the semiconductor memory in which refresh operations are performed automatically, it is possible to evaluate the minimum interval of supplying access requests. As a result, the evaluation time can be reduced with a reduction in the development period of the semiconductor memory.

  • Patent number: 6883232
Abstract: An outer sheath of a shield wire is stripped by a predetermined length from an end of the shield wire to expose a knitted layer of the shield wire. A shield stopper is mated over the exposed knitted layer until the shield stopper abuts against a stripped end of the outer sheath. A metal shell piece is preparatorily mated over an inner sheath of the shield wire while the metal shell piece expands the knitted layer. The shield stopper is clamped by a clamp means, and the mated metal shell piece is pushed to engage with the shield stopper. In the engagement state, the shield stopper overlaps a forward end portion of the metal shell with the knitted layer therebetween. A first cutter is guided by a pipe member so that the first cutter engages with an outer peripheral surface of the second cutter. Thereby, the shearing movement of the cutters cuts the exposed knitted layer near a rear end of the shield stopper.
