  • Publication number: 20080067268
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide a fuel injection nozzle with which occurrence of cavitation erosion due to occurrence of separation of fuel flow near the needle valve and injection holes is suppressed and variation in fuel injection characteristic is reduced, a method of machining injection holes, and an apparatus therefore to attain the object. An insert tool shaped like the needle valve or an insert tool having a conical surface similar to the needle valve and a groove or grooves are on the conical surface to introduce abrasive fluid to the injection holes, is inserted in the central hollow of the nozzle body when performing abrasive fluid flowing processing to round entrance corners of the injection holes, and the processing of each of the injection holes is stopped when flow rate of abrasive fluid flowing out through relevant injection hole reaches a predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20070297598
Abstract: It is determined whether a call-connection condition set to a call-connection device is a first call-connection state or a second call-connection state. When the determination result shows that the first call-connection state is set, a call is connected from an originating terminal to a destination terminal. When the determination result shows that the second call-connection state is set, the call is connected from the originating terminal to the destination terminal and conversation-termination processing is performed without waiting for a disconnection request transmitted from the originating terminal or the destination terminal.

  • Patent number: 7296559
Abstract: An accumulator fuel injection system has fuel pressure pulsation in a common rail caused by fuel injection suppressed in an extremely simple way with a low cost system and without using an electronic control device and so on. The accumulator fuel injection system supplies high pressure fuel accumulated in an accumulating room of the common rail through high pressure fuel outlets provided equally spaced along the longitudinal direction of the common rail to a fuel injection valve of each cylinder at predetermined injection timing. The distance from an end of the accumulating room, from where a pressure wave generated therein is reflected, to a high pressure fuel outlet adjacent to the end (L1 or L2) is determined in a range of (N+0.25) times to (N+0.375) times the pitch length L of the equally spaced high pressure fuel outlets each corresponding to each cylinder, N being a nonnegative integer.

  • Publication number: 20070215827
Abstract: The force to draw an armature of an electromagnetic valve apparatus driving a valve for opening or closing a high-pressure liquid passage is increased and valve bouncing is alleviated by a surface of the core being flat and a surface of the armature facing the surface of the core being shaped convexly spherical. Interference of the surfaces is prevented by a smaller initial gap in a central portion of the faces, even when the armature is installed aslant due to insufficient accuracy of the component parts. Strong electromagnetic attraction can be secured because the smaller the gap is, the stronger the electromagnetic attraction.

  • Patent number: 7263985
Abstract: Catalyst is supported at least on a part of the combustion chamber wall of an internal combustion engine. A control is provided for controlling the fuel injection equipment of the engine so that pilot fuel injection is performed prior to main fuel injection under prescribed operating conditions of the engine. A control is provided for controlling so that the exhaust valve is reopened for a prescribed period at prescribed timing, or the inlet valve is reopened for a prescribed period at prescribed timing, under prescribed operating conditions of the engine. By the combination of providing catalyst on the combustion wall and controlling fuel injection and valve overlapping, the exhaust emission of internal combustion engine can be drastically improved. The catalyst supporting structure to carry catalyst on the heat insulating material coated on a wall to which combustion gas contacts can be effectively applied to every type of heat engine.

  • Patent number: 7258085
Abstract: A free piston engine has a pair of pistons opposing to each other and movable in a cylinder, to form a combustion chamber between the pistons. A mixed gas of air and fuel is supplied into the combustion chamber and the mixed gas is auto-ignited when it is compressed by the pistons. A temperature and/or an air-fuel ratio of the mixed gas, and/or a pressure in the combustion chamber is detected to control displacements of the pistons, so that the mixed gas is auto-ignited at an optimum timing to efficiently operate the free piston engine.
