  • Publication number: 20070108918
Abstract: A backlight assembly prevents abnormal discharge of a device using a high voltage to drive a discharge tube such as CCFL. An inverter circuit includes an inverter transformer supplying an AC high voltage to a plurality of discharge tubes, and a plurality of balance transformers. First terminals of primary coils of the balance transformers are connected to the discharge tubes, and second terminals of the primary coils are connected to a ground. Secondary coils of the balance transformers are connected in series to form a loop. A resistor has a first terminal connected to the loop and a second terminal connected to the ground. Accordingly, the backlight assembly may detect a high-voltage abnormal discharge such as a corona discharge, an arc discharge or the like.

  • Publication number: 20070108917
Abstract: An inverter circuit includes an inverter transformer to supply AC high voltages of opposite phases, and a plurality of balance transformers. The inverter transformer supplies AC high voltages of same phases to every n number of CCFLs, and the CCFLs are connected in series to primary windings of the balance transformers at every two CCFLs. Also, secondary windings of the balance transformers are connected in series to form a closed loop. Thus, an inverter circuit may realized for a large-sized backlight without increasing a number of the balance transformers.

  • Publication number: 20070109817
Abstract: An inverter circuit includes a first driving transformer, a second driving transformer, a power voltage circuit, a high-side FET connected to a secondary winding of the first driving transformer, a low-side FET connected to a secondary winding of the second driving transformer and an inverter transformer connected to a driving node between the high-side FET and the low-side FET. Thus, a direct current path does not exist between a gate of the high-side FET and the driving node, so that a gate voltage of the high-side FET is biased more to a negative polarity.

  • Publication number: 20060185023
Abstract: Peculiar identification information to identify a recording medium itself is recorded onto the recording medium on which contents information as a target of a reproduction deadline management is recorded. At least the identification information recorded on the recording medium as mentioned above is read by a terminal apparatus and transmitted to a server apparatus. In the server apparatus, a reproduction possible deadline of the contents information recorded on the recording medium is managed on the basis of reproduction possible deadline information indicative of the reproduction possible deadline regarding the contents information recorded on the recording medium on the basis of at least the identification information. Thus, when the reproduction deadline of the contents recorded on the recording medium is managed, the operation for allowing the server apparatus side to set registration information such as personal information or the like of the user as in the conventional system is unnecessary.

  • Publication number: 20060063153
Abstract: In a cell detecting part (2), and end face (13a) of a cantilever (13) is previously surface treated so that a detecting nucleotide chain D can be fixed thereto. In a reaction area (10), and electric field is generated by a cathode (11) and an anode (12). A target nucleotide chain T dripped from a nozzle (3) moves to the end face (13a) while the target nucleotide chain T is stretched. When the detecting nucleotide chain D and the target nucleotide chain T are hybridized, the mass of the cantilever (13) is increased to lower a natural frequency. Thus, ac voltage is applied to the cantilever (13) to measure the change of the natural frequency. Thus, whether or not there is the hybridization is detected and the number of the hybridized target nucleotide chains T is quantitatively detected.

  • Publication number: 20060050267
Abstract: Preparation steps are taken before a substrate with components is inspected and a whole image of a standard substrate is prepared preliminarily and inspection areas are determined for target portions to be inspected on this whole image. At the time of the inspection, a camera is positioned corresponding to a target portion to obtain a target image and an area corresponding to the target image is extracted from the whole image and displacement values of this area are calculated relative to the target image. The setting position of the inspection area is corrected by the calculated displacement values and an inspection area is set on the target image based on the corrected coordinates.
