  • Patent number: 6106353
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a color cathode ray tube capable of surely applying a predetermined tension force to a shadow mask and preventing the generation of wrinkles and a manufacturing apparatus of the color cathode ray tube. The method includes applying a compression force to a mask frame formed in a frame shape in the direction in which a gap between at least a pair of facing sides is reduced; and welding and fixing a shadow mask to the upper surface of the mask frame with a tension force applied in the direction opposite to the compression force. In this method, a place to which the compression force is applied is the upper end of the external surface of the mask frame. Thus, a repulsion force in the direction in which a shadow mask is stretched can surely be obtained after the compression force is released, as compared with the case where the same level of compression force is applied to the lower end. Consequently, it is possible to prevent the deterioration of the tension force of the shadow mask.

  • Patent number: 5789872
Abstract: The invention provides a device for effectively decreasing the electric field irradiated from the front surface of a CRT display. This device cancels the leakage field composed of a deflection component and a high voltage ripple component irradiated in the front direction of the CRT by generating an inverse electric field composed of the deflection component and high voltage ripple component. The inverse electric field is obtained by detecting an alternating-current voltage irradiated in the anode portion of the CRT by capacitive coupling a detector to the anode, inverting and amplifying the detected voltage, and applying the inverted voltage to an inverse field generating means installed near the front surface of the CRT.

  • Patent number: 5683710
Abstract: A percutaneous absorption preparation for use in the administration of isosorbide dinitrate (ISDN) as a coronary vasodilator into the living body by percutaneous absorption, which has excellent adhesion to the skin and does not cause pain and damage to stratum corneum when peeled off, is disclosed. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprises an acrylic copolymer prepared by copolymerization of a monomer mixture comprising a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester and a functional monomer as the essential components, a fatty acid ester having a specified number of carbon atoms, a monoglyceride having a specified number of carbon atoms, and ISDN, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is crosslinked. Since its skin adhesive property is improved by the inclusion of the monoglyceride, release of ISDN is improved and the area of the preparation can be decreased.

  • Patent number: 5505306
Abstract: A package structure, in which a drug-containing pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet comprising a support, a drug-containing pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and a separator in this order is packaged and sealed in a packaging material, is disclosed, wherein unevenness is provided on at least one of the surface of the support on the side in contact with the inside of the packaging material, the surface of the separator on the side in contact with the inside of the packaging material, and the inside surface of the packaging material. The unevenness reduces the contact area between the packaging material and the sheet so that an adhesive, a plasticizer or any liquid component of the adhesive layer is prevented from adhering to the inside of the packaging material. Therefore, the sheet can easily be taken out of unit package on use.
