  • Publication number: 20080232673
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an electronic device is provided. The method includes: pressure-bonding a plurality of terminals of an electronic component to a plurality of electrodes formed on a surface of a transparent substrate, respectively, via an anisotropic conductive film to mount the electronic component on the transparent substrate; obtaining an image of the electrodes by imaging the transparent substrate with the electronic component mounted thereon from backside of the transparent substrate; measuring the number of indentations for each said electrode using the image of the electrode, the indentation being formed when the electrode is pressed by a conductive particle in the anisotropic conductive film; calculating an average and a standard deviation of the number of indentations per electrode throughout the transparent substrate; and calculating a probability that the number of indentations per electrode is less than a reference value on basis of the average and the standard deviation.

  • Patent number: 5666015
Abstract: A rotor of an electric motor for a compressor which can prevent the generation of an eddy current, reduce the flux leakage between adjacent magnetic poles, thereby enhancing the operation efficiency of the motor and reducing the size of the compressor. A first end surface member formed from a nonmagnetic material, a second end surface member formed from a nonmagnetic member and a rotor core are integrally caulked by a caulking member. The rotor core is provided with a gap for preventing the short circuit of the magnetic flux caused between adjacent magnetic poles. The gap communicates with a through hole into which the caulking member is inserted.

  • Patent number: 5148760
Abstract: A method and system using an apparatus for folding and sewing a pleat in a material without the need for manual folding. The method includes the use of clamps to hold the material in place and the movement of pleates to fold the material. The pleat is kept in place by a clamp during stitching. The method may be used on any type of pleating operation, but is particularly applicable to the formation of pleats in yoke-back panel material assemblies.
