  • Patent number: 6089184
Abstract: The present invention provides a CVD apparatus and a CVD method for use in forming an Al/Cu multilayered film. The Al/Cu multilayered film is formed in the CVD apparatus comprising a chamber for placing a semiconductor wafer W, a susceptor for mounting the semiconductor wafer W thereon, an Al raw material supply system for introducing a gasified Al raw material into the chamber and a Cu raw material supply system for introducing a gasified Cu raw material into the chamber. The Al/Cu multilayered film is formed by repeating a series of steps consisting of introducing the Al raw material gas into the chamber, depositing the Al film on the semiconductor wafer W by a CVD method, followed by generating a plasma in the chamber in which the Cu raw material gas has been introduced and depositing the Cu film on the semiconductor wafer W by a CVD method. The Al/Cu multilayered film thus obtained is subjected to a heating treatment (annealing), thereby forming a desired Al/Cu multilayered film.

  • Patent number: 6045862
Abstract: A CVD film forming apparatus includes a susceptor, provided in a process chamber, having a surface of an area smaller than that of a wafer. A process gas is supplied to a top surface of the wafer mounted on the susceptor, thereby forming a CVD film on the top surface. A film formation preventing gas is supplied in a direction from the rear surface of the wafer toward a peripheral edge thereof at a flow rate which prevents the process gas from flowing to the rear surface of the wafer.

  • Patent number: 6009211
Abstract: In an Hadamard transform coefficient predictor for 8-point and/or 8.times.8-point Hadamard transform, when the transform coefficients of one-dimensional 8-point Hadamard transform are represented by y(0), y(1), . . . , y(7) from the lowest order, y(1) is multiplied by 1/2 and output as a prediction value of y(3), y(2) is multiplied by 1/4 and output as a prediction value of y(4), y(2) is multiplied by 1/2 and output as a prediction value of y(6), and y(1) is multiplied by 1/4 and output as a prediction value of y(7). Alternatively, when a and b represent real numbers which are above zero and below 1, the multiplication value of y(2) and b/2 and the multiplication value of y(4) and (2-2b) are added to each other, and the addition result is output as a prediction value of y(6). Further, the multiplication value of y(1) and a/4 and the multiplication value of y(3) and (1-a)/2 are added and the addition result is output as a prediction value of y(7).

  • Patent number: 5970172
Abstract: In a Hadamard transform coding device, input image signals are first subjected to Hadamard transform. After the Hadamard transform, the DC coefficients are subjected to variable-length coding, and the AC coefficients are subjected to variable-length coding after the output of an AC coefficient predictor is subtracted therefrom. The AC coefficient predictor predicts the AC coefficients of a center block on the basis of the DC coefficients of the adjacent blocks. In a Hadamard transform decoding device, the DC coefficients are first subjected to variable-length decoding. An AC coefficient predictor predicts the AC coefficients of the center block on the basis of the DC efficient of the adjacent blocks. Thereafter, the AC coefficient prediction error is subjected to variable-length decoding, and added with the output of the AC coefficient predictor to obtain the AC coefficients. The transform coefficients thus obtained are subjected to Hadamard inverse-transform to obtain image signals.

  • Patent number: 5911691
Abstract: An image processing apparatus can display a tomographic image of an object in a three-dimensional region and a three-dimensional or stereoscopic image, such as a three-dimensional surface image of the object or a three-dimensional transparent image thereof, simultaneously on a screen. A sectional plane from which the tomographic image is produced is freely designated on the three-dimensional image displayed on the screen. The sectional plane can be indicated on the displayed three-dimensional image by a cursor line. Further, a data processing range along the ultrasound beam direction can be determined on the displayed tomographic image, in which the three-dimensional image is produced from the echo data obtained from the data processing range. Such a data processing range can also be indicated on the displayed tomographic image by means of cursor lines.

  • Patent number: 5152294
Abstract: A three-dimensional ultrasonic scanner for acquiring data concerning a three-dimensional area within a living body to be examined. In the inside of a scanner case is encased an array transducer unit. Further, at the end bottom portion of the transducer unit there is provided an array transducer composed of a plurality of transducer elements arranged in line one after another. The electronic scanning of this array transducer produces a two-dimensional scanning plane. In addition, a swinging mechanism is provided for mechanically swinging the transducer unit in a direction normal to the arrangement direction of the transducer elements. This mechanical swing movement of the transducer unit shifts the two-dimensional scanning plane to a direction normal thereto, thereby forming a three-dimensional data acquisition area within the living body. Here, a swing angle of the transducer unit is detected by an angle detector.

  • Patent number: 5056764
Abstract: A shock absorber for use in toys comprising a rod for supporting a wheel, a retainer slidably along the rod, and a spring interposed between the lower section of the rod and the retainer which forces the retainer upwardly. These members can be pre-assembled as unit kit. When the shock absorber is mounted on a chassis member, the retainer is depressed downwardly against the biasing force of the spring and the rod is inserted into a bore formed on a chassis member through a opening side groove thereon. After that, the retainer is held in a recess on the bottom of the chassis member so that the rod is reciprocable along the retainer and the bore of the chassis member to absorb the vibration or shock from the wheel.
