  • Publication number: 20070041866
Abstract: The present invention provides a disinfectant that contains olanexidine in a concentration sufficient to exhibit an effective bactericidal effect, and that has hardly any side effects such as skin irritation. Specifically, the present invention provides a disinfectant containing an aqueous solution that contains olanexidine and at least an equimolar amount of gluconic acid, and substantially contains neither an acid other than gluconic acid nor a salt of the acid other than gluconic acid.

  • Patent number: 7179022
Abstract: A cutting tool coated with diamond in which diamond is coated as a film on a substrate having a step 15 to 500 ?m in height in the vicinity of a cutting edge on the rake surface and/or the flank surface. Only the diamond film in the vicinity of the cutting edge can be polished first, without polishing the film of the diamond formed centrally of the rake surface and/or the flank surface. This enables the maximum effect (sharpening of the cutting edge and prevention of welding formation at cutting edge) to be realized with the necessary minimum polishing (with a decreased polishing removal), without setting special conditions and which is suited as a finishing tool.

  • Publication number: 20050253484
Abstract: An ultrasonic motor includes rotors and an annular stator, which are integrated in the rotational direction, a rectangular parallelepiped multilayer piezoelectric transducer, a support shaft, and a transducer with drivers. The support shaft is attached to the outer circumference of the stator and arranged along the radial direction, and the drivers are abutted by a spring urging force to the rotors arranged on both sides of the stator in the axial direction, and are clamped with the rotors. When the transducer is driven so as to excite an elliptical movement produced by combining a bending standing-wave vibration with a longitudinal vibration with the drivers, the rotors are rotated relatively to the stator. Since the drivers are clamped with the integrated rotors, the ultrasonic motor can be driven with small frictional loss and improved conversion efficiency.
