  • Patent number: 9289816
Abstract: A production method uses ultrasonic forming but does not leave a bonding face exposed to the exterior in a final product. The production method of a leading edge member of a fan blade comprises the steps of causing superplastic forming by using a combination of a first mold having a flow path for gas and a second mold having a female mold to pressurize a plate member with the gas through the flow path to fit the plate member onto the female mold; bonding a backing with the plate member processed with the superplastic forming; and cutting out a periphery of the plate member to obtain a product shape.

  • Patent number: 9045130
Abstract: A vehicular engine automatic stop control apparatus has a coast stop controller that performs a coast stop control of stopping an engine in response to a situation where driver's brake pedal operation is above a predetermined threshold value while a vehicle is traveling, a road surface gradient sensor that senses a road surface gradient, and a coast stop control cancellation unit that cancels the coast stop control in response to a situation where a first sensed value of the road surface gradient is above a predetermined cancellation threshold value in absolute value. The first sensed value of the road surface gradient is obtained at a first time instant when the vehicle becomes stationary in a situation where the engine has been stopped by the coast stop controller.

  • Patent number: 8731791
Abstract: When an internal combustion engine is cranked up from a stopped position of a piston in a restart-time first ignition cylinder which is scheduled to start a combustion at the time of an automatic restart of the engine under an automatic stop of the engine during an idling-stop control, a restart-time ignition time interval between a time point when the cranking of the engine is started and a time point when the restart-time first ignition cylinder is initially ignited is calculated. A drive-start timing of a starter motor is delayed according to this restart-time ignition time interval. Thereby, the cranking of the engine is carried out by the starter motor under a state where the hydraulic pressure supplied from the electric oil pump has increased. Thus, the slip in the clutch of the CVT can be suppressed when the gas mixture in the restart-time first ignition cylinder is initially ignited.

  • Publication number: 20140037940
Abstract: A cover film including, at least, (A) a substrate layer, (B) an intermediate layer, (C) a release layer and (D) a heat seal layer is provided. The release layer (C) includes a resin composition which includes (a) a styrene-based resin composition and (b) an ethylene-?-olefin random copolymer, with the content of the copolymer (b) in the release layer being 20 to 50 mass %, and which has a Vicat softening temperature of 55 to 80° C., while the heat seal layer (D) includes an acrylic resin having a glass transition temperature of 55 to 80° C. By the cover film, a carrier tape of polystyrene or the like can be so heat-sealed even in a short time as to achieve sufficient peel strength. Further, the resulting heat-sealed carrier tape exhibits little variation in peel strength, so that when peeling, few components fly out of the carrier tape.

  • Publication number: 20120209480
Abstract: [Problem] To suppress a slip of clutch in an automatic transmission when an internal combustion engine is automatically restarted. [Solution] In a case that the internal combustion engine 1 is cranked up from a stopped position of piston 10 in a restart-time first ignition cylinder which is scheduled to firstly start a combustion at the time of automatic restart of internal combustion engine 1 under an automatic stop of internal combustion engine 1 during an idling-stop control, a restart-time ignition time interval between a time point when the cranking of internal combustion engine 1 is started and a time point when a restart-time first ignition cylinder is initially ignited is calculated. A drive-start timing of starter motor 19 is delayed according to this restart-time ignition time interval. Thereby, the cranking of internal combustion engine 1 is carried out by the starter motor 19 under a state where hydraulic pressure supplied from the electric oil pump 27 has increased.

  • Patent number: 8207558
Abstract: A semiconductor device in which the self-turn-on phenomenon is prevented that can significantly improve power conversion efficiency. The semiconductor device is a system-in-package for power supply applications in which a high-side switch, a low-side switch, and two drivers are included in a single package. The device includes an auxiliary switch disposed between the gate and source of said low-side switch, and a low-side MOSFET 3 for the low-side switch and an auxiliary MOSFET 4 for the auxiliary switch are disposed on the same chip. In this way, the self-turn-on phenomenon can be prevented, allowing the mounting of a low-side MOSFET 3 with a low threshold voltage and thereby significantly improving power conversion efficiency. The gate of the auxiliary MOSFET 4 is driven by the driver for the high-side MOSFET 2, thereby eliminating the need for a new drive circuit and realizing the same pin configuration as existing products, which facilitates easy replacement.
