    Abstract: By respectively abutting first and second outer diameter sections of a second metallic member against first and second inner diameter sections of a first metallic member, and energizing the first metallic member and the second metallic member using a pair of electrodes while pressurizing both metallic members in an axial direction thereof, a first junction where the first inner diameter section and the first outer diameter section are bonded and a second junction where the second inner diameter section and the second outer diameter section are bonded are formed between both metallic members, and a gap in which the metals do not come into contact with each other is formed between both junctions over a predetermined axial length. Accordingly, a high joint strength can be secured using less energy for bonding.

    Abstract: A fuel damper fixing clip includes a clip main body formed from a sheet member having a plurality of flat portions, and formed in a generally square cylindrical shape. The clip main body surrounds portions of the outer peripheries of a cup portion and a fuel damper and deforms in a tightening direction. The clip main body includes two ends overlapped on an outside and an inside surface thereof. Slits are disposed in the plurality of flat portions of the clip main body, and the collar portions of the cup portion and the fuel damper are disposed therein and locked in a diameter-reduced state of the clip main body in which the clip main body is tightened. A receiving hole is formed in one of the ends of the clip main body. A claw portion is disposed on the other end of the clip main body obliquely projecting in a direction opposite to the tightening direction.

A diffusion length of a p-body region (32) of the main device (24) is shorter than that of a p-body (31) of the current detection device (21). A curvature radius at an end portion of the p-body region (32) of the main device (24) is smaller than that of the p-body (31) of the current detection device (21). As a result, at the inverse bias, electric field at the end portion of the p-body region (32) of the main device (24) becomes stronger than that of the p-body region (31) of the current detection device (21). Consequently, avalanche breakdown tends to occur earlier in the main device 24 than the current detection device (21).

    Abstract: An IGBT is disclosed which separated into two groups (first and second IGBT portioZenerns). First and second Zener diodes each composed of series-connected Zener diode parts are disposed so as to correspond to the groups respectively. Each of the first and second Zener diodes has an anode side connected to a corresponding one of first and second polysilicon gate wirings, and a cathode side connected to an emitter electrode. Temperature dependence of a forward voltage drop of each of first and second Zener diodes is used for reducing a gate voltage of a group rising in temperature to throttle a current flowing in the group and reduce the temperature of the group to thereby attain equalization of the temperature distribution in a surface of a chip. In this manner, it is possible to provide an MOS type semiconductor device in which equalization of the temperature distribution in a surface of a chip or among chips can be attained.

    Abstract: A synthesizer including an oscillator for outputting an oscillation signal based on an output signal from a comparator, a frequency divider for dividing a frequency of an output signal from the oscillator based on control from a controller, and a temperature sensor for detecting an error between a preset frequency and a frequency based on a reference oscillation signal. The comparator compares an output signal from the frequency divider with an output signal from a MEMS oscillator and outputs a signal indicating the comparison result to the oscillator. The controller changes the frequency division ratio of the frequency divider based on an output signal from the temperature sensor and changes the frequency division ratio in a state in which the frequency division ratio is kept at the past value. Thus, phase noise deterioration in the synthesizer can be suppressed.
