  • Publication number: 20030066303
Abstract: The object of the present Invention is to provide an expansion valve including a pressure sensor which enables reduction of parts cost. A pressure sensor is screwed into an opening of a body block, which communicates with a space accommodating a valve element and a compression coil spring for urging the valve element toward a valve seat. A set value for an expansion valve is adjusted by changing the amount of screwing of the pressure sensor to thereby change the load of the compression coil spring. An adjusting screw for adjusting the set value for the expansion valve can be dispensed with, which makes it possible to reduce the manufacturing costs of the expansion valve.

  • Patent number: 6484950
Abstract: To provide an expansion valve which permits both the assembling cost and the cost of parts to be effectively reduced by a large margin and thus is highly economical. A high-pressure refrigerant pipe, a valve casing and a low-pressure refrigerant pipe are previously formed integrally with an evaporator. At the time of assembling, an expansion valve unit having a minimum function to serve as an expansion valve is inserted into the valve casing and fixed thereto by a clip, and a distal end portion of a temperature sensing cylinder is fixed to an outlet pipe of the evaporator, thereby constructing an expansion valve. No special joints are required to connect the expansion valve unit to the high-pressure and low-pressure refrigerant pipes, and therefore, the cost of parts can be cut down.

  • Patent number: 6285691
Abstract: A laser generating apparatus has a plurality of laser resonators and control loops for generating frequency locking signals independently for the respective laser resonators. A control signal generation circuit is provided so as to be common to the control loops. Control signals generated by the control signal generation circuit by frequency division are supplied to the respective control loops, whereby the phases of the laser resonators are locked to each other.

  • Patent number: 5970711
Abstract: A main object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of improving the assembling performance of a double seal ring. According to the first embodiment of the invention, on the piston 31 side to which a seal ring is attached, there are provided a ring retaining portion 300 having an outside diameter L0 and for retaining a double seal ring 51, a first land portion 310 adjacent to the ring retaining portion 300 and having an outside diameter L1 (where L1>L0), and a second land portion 320 adjacent to an opposite side of the ring retaining portion 300 to the first land portion 310 and having an outside diameter L2 (where L2<L1). The outside diameter L2 of the second land portion 320 is set to be equal to or smaller than an inside diameter of the outer peripheral resin ring 55, and one side surface of the outer peripheral resin ring 55 on the side of the second land portion 320 is supported by a retainer ring 80 retained by the piston 31.

  • Patent number: 5775370
Abstract: A fluid pressure control valve apparatus, including a main body in which an input opening is formed in communication with a master cylinder and an output opening is formed in communication with a wheel cylinder. A stepped bore in the main body communicates with the openings, the bore being enlarged in the direction towards the input side. A cover member is inserted into the input opening and a stepped piston sidably fits into the bore and extends between a through hole of the cover member and the output opening side of the bore. A path in the piston has one end communicating with the through hole of the cover member and another end communicating with the output opening side. A valve seat formed at the one end of the path and a valve body are arranged in a valve chamber formed in the through hole of the cover member. A valve spring urges the valve body toward the valve seat and a retainer member supports one end of the valve spring.

  • Patent number: 5611258
Abstract: A brake booster having separately formed valve bodies for the vacuum valve and the atmospheric valve, which minimizes an invalid portion of the operation stroke. There is provided a cylindrical inner member 800 air-tightly and slidably fitted in the internal bore of a hub portion 52 of a servo piston 50. The inner member 800 is biased backwardly by a spring 850. The inner member 800 has at its front end a valve body 510 of the vacuum valve 500. The rear end of the inner member 800 is caused to be abutted with the atmospheric air valve body 710 side of the atmospheric air valve 700 under the effect of force of the spring 850.
