  • Publication number: 20070025653
Abstract: A bearing unit and a rotating apparatus which prevent leakage of lubricating oil to the utmost and are superior in reliability are disclosed. A radial bearing and a thrust bearing support a shaft for rotation, and a path forming member and a path forming member lid form a communicating path having a function of short-circuiting pressure generated when the shaft and the radial bearing rotate relative to each other. A housing has a function of covering and holding the members mentioned while the housing is open at one end of the shaft with a small void left therebetween. Lubricating oil is filled in the void. The path forming member and the path forming member lid fully cover the members mentioned except a shaft opening side portion of the radial bearing. The housing is made of a molded resin material.

  • Publication number: 20060039638
Abstract: The disclosed invention provides a sintered oil-impregnated bearing equipped with a bearing hole having a clearance structure, in which a clearer boundary is formed between the bearing surface and the clearance surface, and a manufacturing method thereof. In a bearing hole of a radial bearing, a bearing surface and another bearing surface are formed at both ends in an axial direction, and a clearance surface is formed between both the bearing surface and the bearing surface. The bearing surfaces are formed by a sizing step for a compression-molded piece that is formed by a compression molding step. In the sizing step, diameter-reduction manufacturing is carried out for an end of the compression-molded piece to form a diameter-reduced section, and then afterward, a sizing core is inserted into the bearing hole of the compression-molded piece so as to eventually form the bearing surface.

  • Publication number: 20050220379
Abstract: The bearing unit of the present invention has: a shaft; a radial bearing which supports the shaft in a circumferential direction of the shaft; a thrust bearing which supports an end of the shaft in a thrust direction of the shaft; a housing having a closed structure except for a shaft insertion hole in which the shaft is inserted, with the radial bearing and the thrust bearing being provided inside the housing; a stopper member which prevents the shaft from being pulled out of the radial bearing; and viscous liquid filled in the housing. The stopper member is made of an elastic member which is elastically deformed only in the radial direction and is hardly deformed in the axial direction. Hence, the shaft is prevented from being pulled out from the housing, and shortage of the lubrication oil around bearing surfaces is prevented from being caused by lifting of the shaft.

  • Publication number: 20050220378
Abstract: The present invention relates to bearing unit for supporting a shaft 2 so as to freely rotate and includes a radial bearing 4 for supporting the shaft 2 so as to freely rotate and a housing member 6 made of a resin for holding the radial bearing 4. The housing member 6 is formed with a material having a coefficient of thermal contraction larger than that of a material used for the radial bearing 4. Assuming that the radial thickness of the radial bearing 4 is m and the radial thickness of a housing main body part of the housing member 6 with which the outer periphery of the radial bearing is covered is n, a relation of m>n is satisfied. Thus, an influence due to a thermal contraction upon molding is prevented from being applied to the radial bearing.

  • Patent number: 6712281
Abstract: To provide a low-cost block-type expansion valve containing a strainer. A block-type expansion valve is configured such that a hollow cylindrical strainer is arranged in a space for introducing high-pressure liquid refrigerant, in a manner surrounding a valve element, and the refrigerant introduced into a refrigerant pipe-connecting hole is permitted to flow into a space on the upstream side of the valve element 17 via the strainer. Therefore, since the shape of a body is not substantially changed, it is possible to provide the expansion valve at low costs by suppressing an increase in the manufacturing costs to the cost of the strainer.

  • Patent number: 6612503
Abstract: The object of the present Invention is to provide an expansion valve including a pressure sensor which enables reduction of parts cost. A pressure sensor is screwed into an opening of a body block, which communicates with a space accommodating a valve element and a compression coil spring for urging the valve element toward a valve seat. A set value for an expansion valve is adjusted by changing the amount of screwing of the pressure sensor to thereby change the load of the compression coil spring. An adjusting screw for adjusting the set value for the expansion valve can be dispensed with, which makes it possible to reduce the manufacturing costs of the expansion valve.
