  • Publication number: 20100145850
Abstract: An electronic money server groups a parent who owns a parent mobile phone and children who own child mobile phones to be registered as a family, and credit information of the parent is also registered. When the child accesses the electronic money server by using the child mobile phone and specifies a money amount to request family charge, the electronic money server requests the parent mobile phone for permission of the family charge. When the parent grants the family charge, the electronic money server allows the parent mobile phone to decrease a value by the money amount specified by the child and to make the family settlement, and allows the child mobile phone to increase the value by this money amount and to effect the family charge. Further, the child mobile phone can accept issue of credit from a credit server on credit of the parent, thereby effecting the family charge.

  • Publication number: 20100135386
Abstract: To predict a target code amount from a code amount calculated on a single quantizer scale. The present invention stores relationship information on a plurality of pieces of quantized data for prediction having different MB generated code amounts on a fixed quantizer scale (QI) as prediction curves, the relationship information indicating a relationship between a plurality of quantizer scales (Q) representing a plurality of quantizer steps and MB generated code amounts. The present invention quantizes image data on a macroblock-by-macroblock basis on the single fixed quantizer scale (QI) out of the predetermined plurality of quantizer scales (Q), thereby generating temporary quantized data, and calculates the MB generated code amount of each macroblock unit of this temporary quantized data.

  • Publication number: 20100067910
Abstract: Provided is an ONU that suppresses transmission of a useless multicast control message to a PON section and enables a communication bandwidth of the PON section to be effectively used. The ONU of the PON system has a multicast group management table that shows a correspondence between a multicast group identifier and an address of a user terminal participating in a multicast group. When the ONU receives a request message of participation in the multicast group from the user terminal, the ONU registers the correspondence between the multicast group identifier indicated by the received message and the user terminal address. A new received message is deleted without being sent to the OLT if another user terminal address is registered already, along with a correspondence with the same multicast group identifier, in the multicast group management table.

  • Publication number: 20090165115
Abstract: A large-scale content delivery system may be achieved, which may send a large amount of contents without intensive management of the contents in the server. In a service providing system where a client, a service gateway, and a server are connected to each other through a network, the client sends a first message to the server by way of the service gateway. The service gateway inquires a processing method of the first message from the client of the server by using a second message that includes a part of the first message content. The server replies to the inquiry of the processing method from the service gateway with a program that describes the processing method, and the service gateway processes the first message from the client on the basis of the received processing method.

  • Publication number: 20080130644
Abstract: For continuing multicast data transfer according to path control information after being switched from an active status to a standby status, it is necessary that the standby status hold the same path control information as the active status. However, a synchronization of the path control information thereof is not guaranteed. To solve the above-mentioned problem, this invention provides a data transfer apparatus coupled to a network, including a plurality of interfaces for transmitting and receiving data, in which the data transfer apparatus is configured to: create transfer destination information for correlating a destination of the data with the interfaces for transmitting the data to be transmitted to the destination; and transmit, upon reception of multicast data via one of the interfaces before being judged that the transfer destination information has been created, the multicast data from at least one of the interfaces irrespective of the transfer destination information.
