Abstract: Methods are described to communicate source color volume information in a coded bitstream using SEI messaging. Such data include at least the minimum, maximum, and average luminance values in the source data plus optional data that may include the color volume x and y chromaticity coordinates for the input color primaries (e.g., red, green, and blue) of the source data, and the color x and y chromaticity coordinates for the color primaries corresponding to the minimum, average, and maximum luminance values in the source data. Messaging data signaling an active region in each picture may also be included.

Abstract: Given a sequence of images in a first codeword representation, methods, processes, and systems are presented for integrating reshaping into a next generation video codec for encoding and decoding the images, wherein reshaping allows part of the images to be coded in a second codeword representation which allows more efficient compression than using the first codeword representation. A variety of architectures are discussed, including: an out-of-loop reshaping architecture, an in-loop-for intra pictures only reshaping architecture, an in-loop architecture for prediction residuals, and a hybrid in-loop reshaping architecture. Syntax methods for signaling reshaping parameters, and image-encoding methods optimized with respect to reshaping are also presented.

A semiconductor substrate is provided, a plurality of separate trenches being formed in the semiconductor substrate. Plasma injection is performed to form a barrier layer between adjacent trenches A respective gate structure is formed in each of the plurality of trenches. A plurality of channel regions are formed in the semiconductor substrate, each of the plurality of trenches corresponding to a respective one of the plurality of channel regions. A source/drain region is formed between each of the plurality of trenches and the barrier layer, the source/drain region being electrically connected to the respective one of the plurality of channel regions, and a conductive type of the barrier layer is opposite to a conductive type of the source/drain region.

Abstract: Methods and systems for frame rate scalability are described. Support is provided for input and output video sequences with variable frame rate and variable shutter angle across scenes, or for input video sequences with fixed input frame rate and input shutter angle, but allowing a decoder to generate a video output at a different output frame rate and shutter angle than the corresponding input values. Techniques allowing a decoder to decode more computationally-efficiently a specific backward compatible target frame rate and shutter angle among those allowed are also presented.

Abstract: A screen sharing system and a screen sharing method for a video conference are provided. The screen sharing method includes the following. An identifier is transmitted and video data matching the identifier is transmitted by a first terminal device. Status information corresponding to a second terminal device is received by the first terminal device in response to transmitting the video data. A prompt message is output by the first terminal device according to the status information. The first terminal device determines whether screen sharing with the second terminal device is successful according to the prompt message.

Abstract: An information switching and sharing method, a device, an electronic apparatus, and a storage medium are provided. The method is applied to a client of a sharee, and the method includes: receiving a first page shared by a client of a sharer, in a free browsing mode, wherein the shared first page comprises a link to a second page, and the free browsing mode is a mode in which a page is freely browsed by the client of the sharee; and jumping to the second page in response to a detection of a trigger operation on the link in the shared first page.

Abstract: Provided is a water repellent composition which includes: a water-repellent resin based on a hydrocarbon having a C5-C40 hydrocarbon group; and hydrophilic particles. The water repellent composition can impart both satisfactory water repellency and satisfactory antislip properties to textile products, and has storage stability.

Abstract: An article of outdoor foldable furniture with a lamplight decoration structure includes a frame body and a foldable component for connecting the frame body. The frame body is provided with at least one light bar groove. The foldable component includes a first connecting part, a folding part, and a second connecting part. The first and second connecting parts are closed and extended through the folding part. The first connecting part and/or the second connecting part are provided with a luminous body mounting groove. The luminous body mounting groove is correspondingly disposed in the light bar groove of the frame body. A lampshade, provided with a light guide bar, is mounted in the light bar groove of the frame body. Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to mitigate stalling of streaming content due to rebuffering so that, e.g., the content consumer does not experience gaps in playback. In some embodiments, by buffering streaming content simultaneously at two bitrate levels—e.g., one of the lowest bitrates and a better-quality bitrate, within the bandwidth limitations—rebuffering-caused gaps in playback of a higher quality (HQ) stream may be filled with a lower quality (LQ) stream. For instance, client-side dual buffers may store n segments from the HQ stream during a given time and a multiple of n number of segments from the LQ stream, thus allowing for many of the LQ segments to be output if the HQ stream is rebuffering. If a segment of content is beginning to be played back as an LQ segment, there is no reason to buffer the same segment from the HQ stream.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for UE performing MAC partial reset during cell switch by LTM. In one novel aspect, the UE performs partial MAC reset by keeping a set of MAC procedures. In another novel aspect, the UE keeps the HARQ process initiated by the source cell for the cell switch by LTM. In one embodiment, the UE associates one or more HARQ entities of the source cell to one or more component carriers (CCs) of the target cell after switching the UE serving cell to the target cell. In one embodiment, the UE obtains association information by receiving association information from the network, or by a linkage between CCs of the source cell group and the target cell group when no SCell changes or the target PCell is a source SCell or by deriving the association information based on the difference of current slot/symbol/SFN.

Abstract: A process of treating nano-filtration membrane retentate comprises introducing seawater comprising a sulfate ion concentration of greater than or equal to 3000 mg/l to the NF membrane to produce a retentate stream and a permeate stream, wherein the retentate stream has a sulfate ion concentration greater than or equal to 10,000 mg/l, and mixing barium additives comprising barium chloride dehydrate (BaCl2·2H2O), barium chloride (BaCl2), or both with the retentate stream to precipitate sulfate from the retentate stream to form barite (BaSO4) and reduce the sulfate ion concentration, wherein the barium additives are added into the retentate stream at a barium ion concentration of greater than 10,000 mg/l.

Abstract: An apparatus includes transmitting circuitry for transmitting radio signals, receiving circuitry for receiving radio signals and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to generate data to be transmitted to another apparatus via a first radio link without passing through a base station. The first radio link has a first direction from the apparatus to the other apparatus. Then, the processing circuitry determines a first monitoring configuration associated with the first radio link in the first direction. Then, the transmitting circuitry transmits the data to the other apparatus via the first radio link in the first direction with the first radio link being monitored based on the first monitoring configuration.
