    Abstract: An electrical connector. Multiple first and second terminals are arranged respectively on upper and lower surfaces of a tongue to form upper and lower rows. A middle shielding sheet is insert molded in the tongue and located between the first and second terminals, and has a first middle hole across a central line thereof along a front-rear direction. A width of the first middle hole along a transverse direction is greater than that of at least one USB 2.0 terminal. The first middle hole is located between the USB 2.0 terminals in the upper and lower rows. The middle shielding sheet has first holes respectively at two transverse sides of the central line. A front edge of the first middle hole extends forward beyond a rear edge of the first holes. The length of the first middle hole along the front-rear direction is shorter than that of each first hole.

Multiple terminals are arranged on the tongue at intervals to form at least one row, each terminal having a contact portion exposed from a surface of the tongue. A middle shielding sheet is insert molded in the tongue, and located closer to a middle position of the tongue than the contact portion in a vertical direction. Two recesses are provided backward from a front edge of the middle shielding sheet. A spacer portion is formed between the two recesses of the middle shielding sheet and embedded into the tongue. In a transverse direction, the middle shielding sheet has a through-hole between at least one recess and a side edge of the middle shielding sheet. A front edge of the spacer portion extends forward beyond a front edge of the through-hole.

    Abstract: An assisting apparatus for carrying a chip module having a mark, includes a foolproof seat and a clamping apparatus. The foolproof seat has a seat body. The seat body forms, concavely downward, a receiving space for receiving the chip module. The seat body has a first identifier, the clamping apparatus has a second identifier. The clamping apparatus correctly clamps the chip module by aligning the second identifier with the mark and the first identifier. The foolproof seat having the first identifier and the clamping apparatus having the second identifier are provided, the mark is first aligned with the first identifier so that the chip module having the mark is correctly placed inside the foolproof seat, and then the second identifier is aligned with the mark and the first identifier so as to correctly clamp the chip module, thereby avoiding incorrect mounting of the chip module.
