Abstract: The present invention is directed to a hearing aid which includes a lateral ear canal assembly and a medial ear canal assembly. In embodiments of the invention the medial ear canal assembly may include smart circuitry adapted to control parameters and outputs of the medial ear canal assembly. In embodiments of the invention various methods and circuitry are described, wherein the methods and circuitry are adapted to improve the performance and efficiency of the hearing aid.

Abstract: An apparatus according to which a subterranean formation in which a wellbore extends is hydraulically fractured, the apparatus comprising first and second manifolds, the first manifold including first and second flow lines adapted to be in fluid communication with first and second pumps, respectively, the first pump being adapted to pressurize fluid received from the first flow line, and the second pump being adapted to pressurize fluid received from the second flow line, and the second manifold including a third flow line adapted to convey pressurized fluid from the first and second pumps to the wellbore to hydraulically fracture the subterranean formation in which the wellbore extends. The apparatus is adapted to be connected to another apparatus used to hydraulically fracture the subterranean formation in which the wellbore extends by moving one, or both, of the first and second flow lines relative to the third flow line.

The ventilation cap may be hingedly connected to the damper housing for selective movement between an open position and a closed position. The damper assembly may be in covering relation with the passage and may comprise damper blades that pivot together for selective movement between an open position and a closed position. The damper motor may actuate the selective movement of the ventilation cap and the plurality of damper blades via the control arms. The control module may actuate the damper motor of the air flow control box.

In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes causing a first portion of a panoramic image to be displayed by a display device of a user device, and receiving user input at the user device. Based on the user input, the method determines at least a part of a second portion of the panoramic image for display, the second portion associated with a first audio segment and a second audio segment, selects one of the first audio segment and the second audio segment, and causes a change in display of the panoramic image, where the change includes transitioning the display from the first portion to the second portion. The method causes output of the selected audio segment by an audio output device in communication with the user device.

Abstract: In an example implementation, communications between a downhole logging tool and surface computing subsystem can be provided through a cable that includes one or more electrical conductors. To allow multiple channels of data to be transmitted along a single multi-conductor cable, data can be divided into two or more different channels, and each channel of data can be transmitted along the conductors. Due to the length of the cable, the electrical conductors of the cable may be subject to strong capacitive and inductive coupling. As a consequence of this coupling, signals sent downhole along any two arbitrary conductors may be subject to distortion, and can produce significant “crosstalk” on the other conductors. The effects of crosstalk can be reduced in a variety of ways, for example using QR decomposition.

Abstract: An oil and gas configuration is disclosed that creates and uses a single straight-line fluid path between a zipper module and a fracturing (or Christmas) tree. The single straight-line fluid path is created through connecting a series of valves (e.g., manual or automatic gate or plug valves) that coaxially share inner fluid passageways for transporting hydraulic fracturing fluid between the zipper module and the fracturing tree. The hydraulic fracturing fluid flows along the single straight-line fluid path upon from the zipper module to the fracturing tree. The fracturing tree is equipped with a multi-way block that directs—through one or more internal angled walls—the hydraulic fracturing fluid downward and toward a wellhead.

Abstract: Local internet functionality may allow host devices positioned in branch office locations to securely communicate outgoing internet traffic directly over the internet. Local internet functionality may also allow said host devices to securely receive incoming internet traffic through the creation and tracking of local internet sessions. Local internet functionality is achieved by forwarding egress internet traffic over a local internet virtual pathway extending to a WAN interface/port of a local host device. The WAN interface/port is configured to communicate traffic received over the local internet virtual pathway directly over the internet, while communicating all other egress traffic over secure tunnels of the virtual edge router. The WAN interface/port is further configured to monitor outgoing local internet traffic to create and track local internet sessions.

Abstract: An apparatus including artificial nipple for feeding a baby who has a cleft in its palate region. The artificial nipple includes a palate region to define a region facing the baby's palate during use, and the nipple having a tongue region to define a region facing the baby's tongue during use. The palate region is less compliant than the tongue region to both mimic the hard palate and reduces unwanted movement of the nipple, making it easier for the infant to use his or her tongue to expel fluid from the nipple. The tongue region includes a feeding slit, which maybe U or V shaped, from which liquid maybe discharged without risking nasal congestion. The tongue region may further include a soft protrusion, that assists the peristaltic like tongue movement helping the baby feed, and may extend laterally to reduce the risk of nasal congestion.

Abstract: A zipper stack is connected to a wellhead by way of a single straight-line pipe connection. A manifold assembly with high- and low-pressure lines feeding into one or more fluid lines with a large internal bore diameter supplies fracturing fluid to the zipper stack, which in turn supplies the fracturing fluid to the wellhead. A spherical swivel joint with multiple bearings may be used to the connect various piping and fluid lines disclosed herein.
