  • Publication number: 20230219261
Abstract: The present invention relates to a recycling process for a laminate and a solution used in such a process. The present invention finds particular application in the removal of an adhered overlay from an underlying substrate material such as plastic. The process includes subjecting the laminate to an impact frictional striking force, thereby substantially separating the substrate layer from the one or more surface layers of the overlay and then washing the substrate layer with a washing solution to remove the remaining surface layers of the overlay and glue from the substrate layer. The washing solution may be an aqueous solution including a surfactant, a solvent and a base.

  • Publication number: 20230213247
Abstract: An apparatus includes a captured carbon dioxide input. The captured carbon dioxide input is coupled to receive captured carbon dioxide from a direct air capture system. The apparatus uses the captured carbon dioxide as a low global warming refrigerant to provide cooling functionality in automotive, commercial, and industrial applications, or other operations involving low global warming refrigerants. In various embodiments, the apparatus is a refrigeration apparatus or a heat pump apparatus. Low global warming carbon dioxide refrigerant is natural, non-toxic, non-flammable, and abundant when obtained from a direct air capture system. Moreover, carbon dioxide refrigerant has a high heat transfer coefficient and has a global warming potential (GWP) of one. Carbon dioxide refrigerant is a more sustainable and efficient coolant option than common refrigerants, such as R22, R152, R404a, and R1234yf refrigerants.

  • Publication number: 20230211287
Abstract: An efficient low-energy carbon dioxide removal system comprises an automated air mover equipped with sensing devices to measure flow rate, volume, level, pressure, temperature and concentration. Packing materials and air-liquid distributors are used in a multi-stage catalytic reactor. The multi-stage catalytic reactor processes ambient air and generates pure carbon dioxide gas and generates exhausted gas released to ambient air. In operation, air contacts the base solution in the presence of a catalyst via the air mover, distributor, and packing materials. The air reacts with the base solution thereby generating a base solution having carbon dioxide and generating exhaust (absorption reaction). Next, the exhaust is released from the reactor. Next, a catalyst is added, heat is applied to the base solution having carbon dioxide thereby generating carbon dioxide and generating a base solution without carbon dioxide (desorption reaction).

  • Patent number: 11687288
Abstract: A method of queue design for data storage and management applies RAM data synchronization technology on many distributed nodes, both ensures storage performance and solves the problem of data loss in the system operation process; performs business separation and parallelize actions to optimize processing performance; uses simply extracted information instead of accessing the original information helps to speed up the processing ability and promptly detect events that exceed the threshold; allocates a fixed memory for the queue to ensure the safety of the whole system; in addition, provides monitoring and early warning of possible incidents. The method includes: step 1: build a deployment model; step 2: initialize the values when the application first launches; step 3: process write data to the queue; step 4: detect the threshold and process the data in the queue; step 5: remove processed data from the queue; step 6: monitor queue and early warn.
