    Abstract: Some embodiments provide methods of processing wafers comprising: positioning a stacked wafer into a position to be ground, wherein the stacked wafer comprises a first wafer secured with a carrier-wafer, wherein the first wafer is secured with the carrier-wafer such that a surface of the first wafer is exposed to be ground; initiating a grinding of the first wafer while supported by the carrier-wafer; activating one or more sensors relative to the first wafer while grinding the first wafer; determining, while grinding the first wafer, a thickness of the first wafer separate from a thickness of the carrier-wafer as a function of data from the one or more sensors; determining whether the determined thickness of the first wafer has a predefined relationship with a first thickness threshold; and halting the wafer grinding when the thickness of the first wafer has the predefined relationship with the first thickness threshold.

The coating process includes positioning a component within an enclosed coating system, the enclosed coating system including a coating apparatus, applying a first coating over at least a portion of the component, then robotically applying a mask to the component, then applying a second coating over at least the portion of the component. Another process also includes removing a first coating head portion of the coating apparatus after applying the first coating and replacing the first coating head portion with a masking head portion, then removing the masking head portion after robotically applying the mask to the component and replacing the masking head portion with a second coating head portion.

The central hub can be disposed intermediate the first and second couplings. The central hub defines central hub bores therein. A plurality of coupler pins can be received in the central hub bores. A second plurality of elastomeric inserts can receive second portions of the plurality of coupler pins. The first and second elastomeric inserts can provide dampening between (i) the first coupling and the central hub and (ii) the second coupling and the central hub.

The rib structures and said bar structures are interconnected by junctions. The rib structures have rib segments oriented in the first direction along their lengths and orientation in this direction extends across the junctions connecting two such oriented rib segments. The bar structures are such that their overall stretch ratio in the second direction is a maximum of 1 and all locations along the length of the bar structures have a maximum orientation of 1.5 in the second direction.

Each of the light attenuating filters has one or more respective photochromic filters and one or more respective ultraviolet filters.
