  • Publication number: 20130321609
Abstract: A microscope includes an illumination unit for illuminating a mask at a predetermined non-axial illumination angle, an imaging unit for imaging an aerial image of the mask within a predetermined defocus region, and an imaging field stop, in which as a result of the lateral displacement of the aerial image depending on the position within the defocus region and on the non-axial illumination angle, the opening of the imaging field stop is dimensioned such that the aerial image is either completely encompassed or circumferentially cut within the defocus region. A method for characterizing a mask having a structure includes illuminating the mask at at least one illumination angle using monochromatic illumination radiation such that a diffraction image of the structure is created, recording the diffraction image, establishing the intensities of the maxima of the adjacent orders of diffraction, and establishing an intensity ratio of the intensities.

Abstract: A vehicle head restraint system for a vehicle seat has a support rod with a lateral portion. A head restraint is moveable relative to the lateral portion in a fore/aft direction. A first locking plate and a second locking plate are each moveably mounted to the head restraint to engage the support rod to lock the head restraint relative to the support rod. A rotary link is pivotally connected to the head restraint and interconnects the first and second locking plates. A biasing member is mounted to at least one of the first and second locking plates to bias the head restraint towards a retracted position. An actuator on the head restraint moves one of the first and second locking plates. • Publication number: 20110282861
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for use in higher-order-knowledge-based searching of content available from a network of data-storage devices. In various embodiments, at least one computational expression representative of a relational framework for content is identified and provided to an information retrieval system for use in searching for content desired by a user. The relational framework for content may include rules, expressions, equations, and/or constraints, which bind, relate, or associate certain content with other content. A computational expression may be determined from processing structured data. The structured data may be identified during crawling of a network or may be expressly provided to an extractor. Use of a computational expression by an information retrieval system may more efficiently and accurately return desired content to a user than is possible with traditional information searching methods.
