  • Publication number: 20250052493
Abstract: A method for the cryogenic separation of air, in which method an air separation plant with a rectification column arrangement is used, which plant has a pressure column, a low-pressure column, a raw argon column and pure argon column. In the method, evaporation gas from a head gas condensation device associated with the raw argon column is partially or completely fed into the low-pressure column in a first feed-in region, whereas evaporation gas from a head gas condensation device associated with the pure argon column and excess liquid from this head gas condensation device are partially or completely fed into the low-pressure column in a shared second feed-in region. In one embodiment, flash gas forming during the expansion of cooling fluid into the head gas condensation device associated with the raw argon column can be partially or completely fed into the low-pressure column in the second feed-in region.

  • Publication number: 20250005670
Abstract: A method for allocating asset ownership for maximized collective economic benefit is provided. A computer receives information about a user and an asset used or to be used by the user. The computer identifies areas based at least on the received information in which the user's actual or planned use of the asset does not take maximum economic benefit associated with ownership of the asset. The computer searches a database describing a plurality of asset management entities with legal and structural characteristics suited to achieving maximum economic benefits associated with ownership of the asset. The computer selects a first asset management entity of the plurality of entities to match with the user. The computer executes a transaction providing ownership of the asset to the first entity and providing usage of the asset to the user, the transaction returning a portion of the economic benefits realized to the user.

  • Patent number: 10345040
Abstract: A method for controlling a coupled heat exchanger system having a first heat exchanger block and a second heat exchanger block. A first fluid stream is divided into a first partial current and a second partial current both flowing through the heat exchanger system. A second fluid stream flows through the first heat exchanger block counter to the first partial current. A third fluid stream flows through the second heat exchanger block counter to the second partial current. An intermediate temperature is measured on one of the heat exchanger blocks. The amount of the first partial current and the second partial current is controlled based on the current value of the intermediate temperature. This control reduces the strain on the heat exchangers by changing loads while keeping fluctuations of the intermediate temperature low.
