  • Patent number: 10345040
Abstract: A method for controlling a coupled heat exchanger system having a first heat exchanger block and a second heat exchanger block. A first fluid stream is divided into a first partial current and a second partial current both flowing through the heat exchanger system. A second fluid stream flows through the first heat exchanger block counter to the first partial current. A third fluid stream flows through the second heat exchanger block counter to the second partial current. An intermediate temperature is measured on one of the heat exchanger blocks. The amount of the first partial current and the second partial current is controlled based on the current value of the intermediate temperature. This control reduces the strain on the heat exchangers by changing loads while keeping fluctuations of the intermediate temperature low.

  • Publication number: 20150287548
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing an electrochemical cell, in particular a secondary battery or a double-layer capacitor, in which a cell vessel containing at least one porous cell component is filled with a flowable electrolyte. It is based on the object of providing a method involving simpler equipment that reacts to the fluctuating free volume with an adapted filling amount of electrolyte in the interests of optimum filling. This object is achieved by providing that, in a first filling step, an excess amount of electrolyte is introduced, in which the porous cell component is completely immersed, that the electrolyte introduced is subjected to a force that drives out of the cell vessel the part of the electrolyte that is not located in the pores of the porous component and that, in a second filling step, an added amount of electrolyte is introduced.

  • Publication number: 20150132682
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing an electrochemical cell, such as in particular a secondary battery, a double-layer capacitor, an electrolytic capacitor or a fuel cell, in which a cell vessel containing two electrodes of one-piece or multi-part design and at least one separator is filled with free-flowing electrolyte. The object of the invention is to match the quantity of electrolyte in an electrochemical cell as exactly as possible to the free volume actually present. The object is achieved in that, before the filling with the electrolyte, the quantity of electrolyte to be put in is determined at least while taking into account the actual thicknesses and the actual weights of the electrodes in the cell vessel and of the separator in the cell vessel.
