  • Patent number: 10398848
Abstract: An autoinjector includes a case adapted to hold a medicament container having a needle, a needle shroud telescopically coupled to the case, and a plunger rotationally and slidably disposed in the case. The needle shroud is movable between a first extended position relative to the case in which the needle is covered and a retracted position relative to the case in which the needle is exposed. The plunger is rotatable relative to the case between a first rotational position in which the plunger is engaged to the case and a second rotational position in which the plunger disengages the case. The needle shroud is operably coupled to the plunger. When the needle shroud translates from the first extended position to the retracted position, the plunger rotates from the first rotational position to the second rotational position.

  • Publication number: 20190220741
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of training an artificial neural network (ANN) by generating a first learned parameter for use in normalising input data values during a subsequent inference phase of the trained ANN. The method includes, for each of a series of batches of training data values, deriving a batch variance of the batch of training data values and a running variance of all training data values already processed in the training phase; generating an approximation of a current value of the first learned parameter so that a first scaling factor dependent upon the approximation of the first learned parameter and the running variance, is constrained to be equal to a power of two; and normalizing the batch of input data values by a second scaling factor dependent upon the approximation of the current value of the first learned parameter and the batch variance.

  • Publication number: 20190208320
Abstract: The present technology relates to a sound source separation device that enables to achieve higher separation performance, and a method and a program. The sound source separation device includes a combining unit that combines a first sound source separation signal of a predetermined sound source, the first sound source separation signal being separated from a mixed sound signal by a first sound source separation system, with a second sound source separation signal of the sound source, the second sound source separation signal being separated from the mixed sound signal by a second sound source separation system that differs in separation performance from the first sound source separation system in predetermined units of time, and that outputs a sound source separation signal obtained by the combination. The present technology can be applied to the sound source separation device.
