The hanger includes a first hoop located around the lower sidewall, and a second hoop located above the first hoop. The first and second hoops are open hoops having respective first and second gaps, and are connected by an intermediate section aligned with a tensile section extending from the second hoop to an attachment point on the axis above the open end. An alternative hanger has helical turns conforming to the vase. The hanger is preferably formed from a single piece of resilient wire. • Publication number: 20150280466
Abstract: An onboard charging system for an electric vehicle is configured to communicate with a power supply through exchange of control signals on a power supply line by modulating a charging current being supplied to the charging system. The charging system is capable of communicating fault and battery parameter data to the power supply, as well as a requested charging current used to regulate the power supply output. The power supply may convert high voltage AC power into a controllable DC output supplied directly to the electric vehicle, thereby providing a convenient means for the vehicle to initiate charging during operations. Connection between the electric vehicle and the power supply may be effected using an extendible and retractable electrical connection, such as a mechanical pantograph.

  • Patent number: 9069641
Abstract: Updating firmware on mobile devices can be performed during device management (DM) sessions between mobile devices and one or more servers. A server can provide data to at least one node of a firmware update management object (FUMO) stored at a mobile device. The data can indicate a plurality of different update file locations accessible via a network. The mobile device can download a plurality of update files from the plurality of different update file locations via the network in response to receiving the command. From a set of update files, each mobile device can thus obtain its particular firmware update as a subset of the update files as indicated by its FUMO. Metadata may be provided to the FUMO to express one or more conditions that the mobile device must meet in order to download respective update files.

  • Patent number: 8806222
Abstract: To provide for cryptographic separation, embodiments of the invention employ containment mechanisms provided by trusted operating systems to ensure that plaintext data which must be encrypted in accordance with a security policy (or, in reverse, ciphertext data which is to be decrypted) is processed by a suitable encryption routine before being sent onwards for transmission, storage, or the like. Such containment mechanisms usually include mandatory system access control rules which specify to which system resources the output of a system resource (such as an application) may be supplied. By specifying a suitable set of such rules, mandatory encryption can be enforced at the operating system kernel level.
