  • Patent number: 10387129
Abstract: Systems and methods for deploying runtime environment-agnostic services are presented. In an example embodiment, an indication is received of a runtime environment in which a first programming code and a second programming code are to execute. The second programming code includes a dependency to the first programming code that is abstracted from the runtime environment. An artifact of the first programming code and an artifact of the second programming code are accessed from a data store based on the indication of the runtime environment. The artifact of the first programming code and the artifact of the second programming code are integrated to yield integrated programming code. The integrated programming code is deployed to the indicated runtime environment.

  • Publication number: 20190248395
Abstract: A method secures a railroad crossing which allows a timely securing of the railroad crossing, and is particularly efficient and reliable. The method proceeds in such a way that sensor data relating to a rail-borne vehicle approaching the railroad crossing are detected by a track-side sensor device. The sensor data contains at least the current speed of the rail-borne vehicle. The detected sensor data are transmitted by the track-side sensor device to a stationary control device. A switch-on time is determined by the stationary control device taking into account the transmitted sensor data and route data. Upon reaching the switch-on time, the securing of the railroad crossing is initiated by the stationary control device. After the railroad crossing has been successfully secured, a travel permission that extends beyond the railroad crossing is determined by a control device of a train control system, and is transmitted to the rail-borne vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20190218065
Abstract: An illustrative example elevator assembly includes a frame having vertically oriented beams and horizontally oriented beams connected to the vertically oriented beams. A first elevator cab is supported within the frame between the vertically oriented beams. A pantograph linkage includes a plurality of links. The pantograph linkage is supported on one of the horizontally oriented beams. The pantograph linkage is connected with the first elevator cab such that different positions of the first elevator cab relative to the frame correspond to different relative positions of the links. A second elevator cab is suspended by the pantograph linkage beneath the frame. The different relative positions of the links place the second elevator cab in different positions relative to the frame.

  • Patent number: 10286884
Abstract: A vehicle brake system having electronic pressure regulation and a related method, in which the system stabilizes a vehicle, supports the actuation of the brake system, and/or enables a fully/partly automated driving operation. The system has a primary actuator system that sets/regulates different brake pressures at the wheel brakes, and an electronically controllable secondary actuator system that secures the vehicle brake system against primary actuator failure. For a primary actuator error, the secondary actuator is controlled so that the secondary system produces a brake pressure that, based on the dynamic axle load displacement, occurring during a braking process, in the direction of a front axle, is greater than the brake pressure that is convertable into a rear axle wheel brake braking power. A device reduces this brake pressure at the rear axle wheel brake to a value at which the vehicle wheel, assigned to this wheel brake, does not lock.
