    Abstract: The present invention is a label system and method for label alignment and placement on a container. The label system includes a first label or a container whereby the first label includes alignment symbology and a second label having an alignment area corresponding to the alignment symbology of the first label. The second label is positioned on the container whereby the alignment area of the second label is aligned with the alignment symbology of the first label. The method for label alignment and placement comprises the steps of (i) providing a container with identification information and a label bearing area; (ii) scanning the identification information; (iii) processing the identification information; (iv) printing indicia on a label at a position defined by the identification information; and (v) placing the label on the container with the indicia positioned at the desired predetermined location.

    Abstract: A fast thermal cycler has a temperature chamber divided into a top, hot compartment heated by heating lamps and a bottom cold compartment cooled by liquid nitrogen, for optimizing thermal cycling rates for devices under test, such as solar cells, for rapid thermal life testing where both compartments use pressurized gaseous nitrogen for thermal conduction and regulation and a motor drive repetitively transports a test device mounted on a panel transiting between the two compartments. The thermal cycler is enhanced by computer control, enabling in-situ electrical testing, fail-safe heating, precision temperature heating and cooling phases, operator alerting and thermal gradient control during the temperature cycling.

    Abstract: A mobile fireproofing and specialty coating apparatus comprising a trailer, a generator mounted on the trailer, and a fuel tank connected to the generator for powering the generator. There is a work platform mounted to the trailer to allow the operators to work directly on the unit. A mixer for mixing a dry product with water is mounted on the work platform and comprises a vat, a rotatable mixing tool and a motor for rotating the mixing tool. The motor is powered by the generator. A pump is connected to the generator and is mounted adjacent the mixer. A hose is connected to the pump and to a spray nozzle for spraying the product. There is a second mixer for mixing accelerator with water mounted on the work platform, and comprises a mixing tank, a rotatable mixing tool and a motor connected to the mixing tool and the generator.

    Abstract: A laboratory flask is designed for the growth of tissue, cells or microorganisms in a culture medium. The flask includes a bottom wall which accommodates the culture medium. The interior of the flask is accessible from an opening in a side wall through a neck extending outwardly therefrom. The neck of the flask is raised above an upper planar surface of the flask, so as to maximize the height between the neck and the bottom wall, thereby permitting an increase in the usable volume of the flask. The inner wall surface of the neck includes a depending filler wall extending between the inner wall of the neck and the upper planar surface of the flask to fill a gap which would otherwise exist therebetween. The flask permits accommodation of a standard screw-threaded cap to close the neck.
