  • Publication number: 20240090359
Abstract: A method may include detecting one or more objects within an agricultural environment based on an analysis of a first aerial image of the agricultural environment and determining a first navigational route for an autonomous tractor system to follow to perform an agricultural task within the agricultural environment in view of the detected objects. The autonomous tractor system may be configured to navigate through the agricultural environment via the first navigational route. The method may further include, while autonomous tractor system is navigating through the agricultural environment via the first navigational route, obtaining, from one or more sensors of the autonomous tractor system, data regarding a second object within an agricultural environment. The method may also include determining a second navigational route for the autonomous tractor system to follow to perform the agricultural task within the agricultural environment in view of the first navigational route and the second object.

  • Publication number: 20240069545
Abstract: An example method may include obtaining operational instructions for operation of an autonomous tractor system to perform an agricultural task within an operational environment and directing the operational instructions to the autonomous tractor system. The method may also include while the autonomous tractor system is autonomously performing the agricultural task per the operational instructions, obtaining a notification that the autonomous tractor system is experiencing an unexpected event. The notification may provide an indication of the event and multiple responses performable by the autonomous tractor system in response to the event. In response to the notification, the method may include obtaining, based on input from a user, a selection of one of the multiple responses and directing the selected one of the multiple responses to the autonomous tractor system.

  • Publication number: 20210134449
Abstract: A server center controls operation across one or more command centers that are communicatively networked with one or more medical care settings. Devices are deployed at each medical care setting and at the command center(s) and a control device at the server center facilitates digital consultation sessions between a patient and/or local care provider and command center staff via the devices. The control device also facilitates communication between the command center staff and the care setting data center to update the electronic medical record for a patient and to enter specific patient instructions. The control device also prioritizes patients across one or more care settings and presents a prioritized patient queue to command center staff. The control device also provides command center staff with suggested tests and treatments based on an analysis of patient information. The control device also provides patient admission prediction information to each care setting.

  • Patent number: 8542405
Abstract: A method for forming a color transform for a color printing device having a plurality of colorant channels that includes applying a tone scale adjustment function and a total colorant load limit. An optimization process is used to optimize a merit function including a tone scale reproduction accuracy term and a gamut shape term. The method involves determining an initial merit function value responsive to an initial total colorant load limit and an initial set of tone scale adjustment parameters for a tone scale adjustment function. Modified tone scale adjustment parameters and a modified total colorant load limit are determined that provide an improved merit function value subject to a constraint that an average total colorant load is no more than a predefined threshold for a predefined distribution of input colors.

  • Patent number: 8520938
Abstract: A method for adjusting a color in a color space comprises adjusting the color along a gradient path to a point in or on a color gamut. The gradient path is determined from a potential field derived from the color gamut consisting of gamut points in the color space. The potential field can be derived from one or more points in the color gamut and different functions may be used to determine the potentials due to different points in the gamut. The potential at a point in the color space due to the gamut point can be a function, including an inverse power, of distance of the point in the color space from the gamut point. The gradient path can be determined from the gradient of the potential field by quadric error-based surface simplification of a surface mesh representing a surface of the gamut.

  • Patent number: 7900144
Abstract: Modification of color values in a page description file can be carried out by converting implicit color commands within the page description file to explicit color commands. The color values specified by the explicit color commands within the page description file then are adjusted to calibrate an output device for enhanced color fidelity. Implicit color commands specify color values indirectly, for example, by defining color as a function of other graphic information and color reference values. Consequently, color modification prior to RIP conversion generally is difficult. Conversion and modification of explicit color values provides a higher degree of color conversion accuracy without the need for RIP conversion of the page description file.

  • Publication number: 20080150960
Abstract: A method for converting CMYK source device values to CMYK destination device values includes converting the CMYK source device values to a four-color device-independent color space using a source profile with a four-color device-independent color space. The four color device-independent color space is converted to the CMYK destination values using a destination profile with the four color device-independent color space, and three colors of the four color device-independent color space are used to define the color of a combined CMYK values and the remaining device-independent color space color is used to define the color of only a K colorant.

  • Publication number: 20080136836
Abstract: A method of performing color conversion between profiles includes comparing two sets of measured and reference data for at least one device corresponding to one of the profiles used in the color conversion, the data from the two sets of measured and reference data correspond to the same device values and are indicative of differences in behavior between a current state of the device and a reference state of the device in which at least one member of the set includes more than one non-zero value of colorants. And performing one-dimensional corrections to one of the profiles in order to account for the differences between the measured and reference data sets prior to performing color conversion.

  • Patent number: 7382379
Abstract: A color mapping method is used in transforming colors between color imaging systems. The method includes using forward transformation profiles that characterize the color imaging systems to generate respective sets of device-independent color values for the color imaging systems. Color conversions are calculated by recursively reducing differences between the respective sets of device-independent color values. Based on these color conversions, a color map is constructed that describes a relationship between the color imaging systems.
