  • Publication number: 20150036760
Abstract: A re-configurable RF architecture includes both a 2×2 MIMO mode and a 1×2 MIMO mode The 2×2 MIMO mode includes a first RF chain coupled with a first dual band antenna and configured to both transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) using two different RF protocols. The 2×2 MIMO mode also includes a second RF chain coupled with a second dual band antenna and configured to both Tx and Rx using a single RF protocol. The first RF chain may be coupled with a third antenna configured for near field proximity sensing. The RF architecture is reversibly switchable from the 2×2 MIMO mode to the 1×2 MIMO mode when near field proximity detection is required. In the 1×2 MIMO mode the Tx/Rx capabilities of the second chain using the second dual band antenna are retained and the first chain is configured for Rx only capability using the third antenna.

  • Patent number: 8939070
Abstract: There is provided a juicer for extracting juice from fruits and vegetables comprising a lower base, an upper base, a top cover with a hollow cylindrical feeding tube, a grating-disk and mesh filter assembly, a pulp collector, and a pusher. The upper base is mounted on a lower base and receives the grating-disk and mesh filter assembly. The grating disk is a concave shape and tooth-like cutters are arranged into rows on an inclined surface of the grating disk. The top cover is fitted on the upper base and houses a hollow cylindrical feeding tube. Inside the feeding tube is an anti-rotation protrusion, located at the bottom of the feeding tube made an integral part of the feeding tube to prevent the food from spinning inside the tube. The pusher is inserted into the feeding tube and contains a opening that matches the anti-rotation protrusion and into which rests the anti-rotation protrusion. The bottom of the pusher is convex-shaped and matches the concave grating disk.

  • Patent number: 8661943
Abstract: A mechanical four-speed gearbox/drive system for household appliances comprising two drive-outlets; each drive-outlet driven at two different speeds in the same rotational direction; a motor, motor shaft, first drive-outlet and second drive-outlet, with installation of one-way bearings in suitable places in the gear-train. The motor drives two drive-outlets and rotates in clockwise and counter-clockwise directions through three one-way bearings and two gear down systems to provide four different speed drives. When operating in hi-speed mode, the first drive-outlet is directly driven by the motor. When operating in lo-speed mode, the first drive-outlet is driven via the gear down system, with resulting increase in torque. Simultaneously, second drive-outlet is driven via second gear down system to provide two different speed drives. This gearbox is simple to construct and operable without expensive control electronics.
