    Abstract: An apparatus, method, and computer program product are described that provide for a user to share content with other users who are proximate to his or her device in a simple and intuitive manner. In some embodiments, a “wave” gesture is used to identify users of devices that nearby to the source user's device with whom the source user may communicate, such as to share content. Upon receiving a first orientation input, a scanning mode may be initiated during which one or more devices proximate the apparatus are determined. A second orientation input that is different from the first orientation input, and the scanning mode may be terminated in response. As a result, a communication with at least one selected device of the one or more devices determined to be proximate the apparatus may be facilitated.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a mechanical two-speed drive system/gearbox for household appliances such as a blender or food processor. The gearbox comprises a motor, a motor shaft, a drive-outlet, and the installation of one-way bearings in suitable places in the gear-train. The drive-outlet can be driven at two different speeds in the same rotational direction. By operating the motor in the clockwise direction and counter-clockwise direction, a change in the drive-outlet rpm is achieved. When operating in the hi-speed mode, the drive-outlet is directly driven by the motor. When operating in the lo-speed mode, the drive-outlet is driven via the gear-train, with a resulting increase in torque. This gearbox is simple to construct, and operable without expensive control electronics. In particular applications with electronic motor speed and directional control, a much broader and useable drive-outlet speed range is achieved.

The method can further include calculating a position of the second device with respect to the first device based on the proximity information and based on the direction information. Another method includes examining a sequence of packets sent over a network from a source entity to a destination entity, each packet in the sequence comprising a same identifier corresponding to a network entity on the network. The method includes determining whether a property of the sequence of packets was modified when sent to uniquely identify the sequence of packets; and responsive to the determining, associating the identifier with the network identity. The grating disk is a concave shape and tooth-like cutters are arranged into rows on an inclined surface of the grating disk. The top cover is fitted on the upper base and houses a hollow cylindrical feeding tube. Inside the feeding tube is an anti-rotation protrusion, located at the bottom of the feeding tube made an integral part of the feeding tube to prevent the food from spinning inside the tube. The pusher is inserted into the feeding tube and contains a opening that matches the anti-rotation protrusion and into which rests the anti-rotation protrusion. The bottom of the pusher is convex-shaped and matches the concave grating disk.
