  • Publication number: 20230210842
Abstract: A supramolecular nano-drug based on irinotecan and niraparib, and a preparation method and application thereof are provided. The nano-drug is a stable supramolecular nanostructure with a regular geometric appearance, which is formed by self-assembling irinotecan and niraparib through supramolecular acting forces, such as hydrogen bonds, and hydrophobic Van Der Waals force by a dynamic supramolecular self-assembly method. The supramolecular nano-drug formed in the present disclosure is capable of significantly improving the sensitivity of colorectal cells to the irinotecan, and the quantity of DNA damages induced in the colorectal cells is significantly higher than that induced by the irinotecan as a single chemotherapeutic drug. The supramolecular nano-drug of the present disclosure can not only induce death of colorectal cancer cells in vitro, but also play a role in treating the colorectal cancer in vivo after being administrated intravenously.

  • Patent number: 11681806
Abstract: In an approach to protecting against out-of-bounds buffer references, an apparatus comprises one or more processor cores and a bounds-checking functional unit in each processor core configured to manage bounds information for one or more memory buffers. When a buffer is allocated, an address range of the buffer is stored. When a pointer is assigned an address within the address range of the buffer, the address range of the buffer is associated with the pointer. When the pointer is used to compute an address for an operation, whether the address for the operation is within the address range associated with the pointer is determined. If the address is not within the address range associated with the pointer, signaling that an error has occurred.

  • Patent number: 11671413
Abstract: A technique to cache content securely within edge network environments, even within portions of that network that might be considered less secure than what a customer desires, while still providing the acceleration and off-loading benefits of the edge network. The approach ensures that customer confidential data (whether content, keys, etc.) are not exposed either in transit or at rest. In this approach, only encrypted copies of the customer's content objects are maintained within the portion of the edge network, but without any need to manage the encryption keys. To take full advantage of the secure content caching technique, preferably the encrypted content (or portions thereof) are pre-positioned within the edge network portion to improve performance of secure content delivery from the environment.

  • Patent number: 11614806
Abstract: Self-mixing interferometry (SMI) sensors can be used for generation of content using an input device without requiring a touch-sensitive surface. In some examples, the SMI sensors can be used to detect characteristics of the input device including position, orientation, and/or motion of the input device and/or force applied by the input device (e.g., force applied by a stylus tip). In some examples, some or all of the characteristics of the input device can be used in processing to generate content, including textual character input and three-dimensional objects. In some examples, the generation of content can use information from one or more additional sensors for the input device and/or from additional devices in combination with the characteristics of the input device based on the SMI sensors for generation of content.

  • Publication number: 20230089141
Abstract: Self-mixing interferometry (SMI) sensors may include vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSEL), photodetectors, and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). The VCSEL, photodetectors, and MEMS may be vertically stacked. The MEMS may be moveable with respect to a VCSEL and may change a cavity length associated with the VCSEL. By changing the cavity length associated with the VCSEL, certain properties of emitted light may be changed, such as a wavelength value of the emitted light.

  • Publication number: 20230087411
Abstract: An electronic device may include an infrared sensor with light sources and a quantum film photodetector. The light sources may emit short-wavelength infrared (SWIR) light through a display panel and the photodetector may receive the SWIR light through the panel after reflection off an object. The light sources and an integrated circuit may be mounted to a wall of a sensor module mounted to the panel. The module may include a lens. The photodetector may be disposed onto the rear wall, lens, integrated circuit, or display panel. The photodetector may include multiple types of quantum film to absorb different wavelengths of SWIR light. The SWIR light may pass through the display panel without distorting images emitted by the display panel. Using a quantum film in the photodetector may allow the photodetector to extend across a large surface area without unnecessarily increasing manufacturing cost for the device.

  • Publication number: 20230070943
Abstract: Configurations for a beam deflector metasurface are disclosed. The beam deflector metasurface may include beam deflectors arranged in a repeating, radial pattern of concentric zones. The beam deflector metasurface may be a large area, high numerical aperture metasurface optic with high efficiency when directing light at non-normal angles of incidence. The different concentric zones may direct received light in varying directions with various steepness of angles. The beam deflectors may include pillars that may be the same or different width, height, or shape. The pillars may function as diffractive gratings and the cross-coupling between the pillars may direct the output light. The zones of the beam deflector metasurface may allow for diffusing hot spots and spreading the light evenly over the target area. The beam deflector metasurface may be used for non-imaging applications where the deterioration of focus allows for better efficiency at non-normal input and output angles of incidence.
