  • Patent number: 6590464
Abstract: A resistor-capacitor oscillator for receiving a current source, comprising a first switch path and a second switch path that are symmetric and connected in parallel. The first switch path comprises a signal output terminal and a first voltage output terminal. The second switch path comprises a complementary signal output terminal and the second voltage output terminal. One of these two voltage output terminals is selected randomly and input to both the first comparator and the second comparator simultaneously. The first comparator further receives a {fraction (1/2 )} VBG voltage, and the second comparator further receives 2VBG voltage. The first comparator outputs to a PMOS transistor, and the second comparator outputs to an NMOS transistor. The PMOS transistor is in series with the NMOS transistor, and is jointly coupled in between the system power supply and the ground voltage. Moreover, a latch and an inverter are serially coupled to the location of the serial junction node of these two transistors.

  • Patent number: 6565784
Abstract: A process for the preparation of a composition useful in telecommunications jacketing comprising: (i) introducing a polyolefin into the first mixing zone of a melt/mixer having first and second mixing zones; (ii) introducing particulate carbon black per se or a premix of said carbon black and polyolefin into the first mixing zone, said carbon black being in an amount of about 2 to about 50 percent based on the weight of the polyolefin introduced into the first mixing zone; (iii) melting the polyolefin in the presence of the carbon black in the first mixing zone; (iv) mixing the carbon black and the molten polyolefin in the first mixing zone to provide a molten mixture; (v) passing the molten mixture from step (iv) into the second mixing zone; (vi) adding sufficient polyolefin to the molten mixture from step (v) to dilute the carbon black to a level of about 2 to about 3 percent by weight based on the weight of the total polyolefin in the melt/mixer; (vii) mixing the added polyolefin with the molten mix

  • Publication number: 20020071456
Abstract: A laser structure, coupled to a LED pump, has an unguided uniform gain element having two mirrors forming a Fabry-Perot cavity. The gain element is coupled to an input waveguide and an output waveguide, wherein the output waveguide has a greater mode field diameter than the input waveguide. The output waveguide may be a TEC fiber. The structure is coupled to a LED pump.

  • Patent number: 5088238
Abstract: A grinder for polishing the outer surface of a work piece, comprising a power unit set in a machine base to carry a centrifugal disc to a centrifugalize grinding solution contained in a container for polishing work pieces therein. Elongated stop bars are longitudinally arranged on the inner wall surface of the container to stop the grinding solution centrifugalized by the centrifugal disc. Stirring bars are on the cap of the container for stirring the centrifugalized grinding solution. Stirring blades are provided on a rotary wheel, which is revolvably attached to the inner bottom of the cap, for agitating the centrifugalized grinding solution into turbulent flow so as to achieve better grinding performance.
