Abstract: A method for prompting by suggesting the stroke order of a Chinese character, an electronic device, and a computer program product are provided. The electronic device includes a database for storing codes of Chinese characters, and at least one stroke order of at least one handwriting of each of the Chinese characters. In the present method, when a character input through a phonetic transcription input method installed in the electronic device is identified, at least one Chinese character code corresponding to the input character is obtained from the database, and a stroke order of a handwriting of the input character from the database is shown according to the Chinese character code. Accordingly, a user is assisted to memorize the stroke orders of Chinese characters when the user inputs Chinese characters.

Abstract: An electronic device and an operating method thereof are provided. The method firstly establishes a database recording at least one predefined operating gesture, a predefined function corresponding to the predefined operating gesture, and a specific color. An image captured by an image capturing unit of the electronic device is then obtained. When the specific color is found in the image, a position of the specific color is obtained and a gesture trajectory is displayed on a screen of the electronic device according to the position. The method repeats the steps of obtaining the image and displaying the gesture trajectory till it is unable to find the specific color in the currently obtained image. By referring to the database, the predefined function is then executed according to the predefined operating gesture which is determined by connecting the positions of the specific color in the obtained images.

Abstract: A method for adjusting a displayed frame, an electronic device, and a computer readable medium thereof are provided. In the present method, a connection line between both eyes of a user is obtained. Then, a relation between the connection line and a screen of the electronic device is calculated. Finally, a frame currently displayed on the screen is rotated according to the relation, and the rotated frame is displayed on the screen. Thereby, the frame is automatically adjusted to an angle most suitable for the user without any action performed by the user on the electronic device.

Abstract: An electronic device and an operating method thereof are provided, wherein the electronic device includes a first infrared sensor and a display unit for displaying a frame. In the present operating method, an individual operation is defined for the first infrared sensor, wherein the individual operation is to turn the frame over or to move a position of a cursor displayed in the frame. If a period for which the first infrared sensor has sensed infrared radiation from an object is shorter than a first predetermined value, the first infrared sensor is determined as being temporarily hidden and the individual operation is performed.

Abstract: An antenna structure is disposed on a substrate. The antenna structure includes a -shaped radiation body and a first radiation body, and both share a feeding end and a grounding end. The feeding end and the grounding end are disposed to a side edge of the -shaped radiation body. The positions of the feeding end and the grounding end allow the -shaped radiation body to form the operation of two frequency bands. Moreover, the first radiation body is vertically extended from the side edge near the feeding end disposed to the -shaped radiation body, and continuously extended from an end to keep a spacing between periphery of the -shaped radiation body and the first radiation body, and extended to a front of an opening of the -shaped radiation body, thereby vertically extending toward the opening. Therefore, the first radiation body could provide the operation of another frequency band.

Abstract: A method for volume adaptation, a mobile electronic device and a computer program product are disclosed. According to the method for volume adaptation, a sound producing function is started. At intervals, a present first environmental noise is sampled, a present set playing volume of the mobile electronic device is inquired about, and a second environmental noise occurring on setting the playing volume is obtained. Finally, the playing volume is adjusted according to the first environmental noise and the second environmental noise. In this way, the present invention is able to automatically adjust the playing volume thereof in response to the environmental noises of different times, which largely increases the convenience of using the mobile electronic device.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a man-machine operation picture, a mobile video device thereof, and a video system using the same are provided, which are applicable to a first mobile video device and a second mobile video device wirelessly connected to each other, and the first mobile video device includes a first screen. A display picture data is obtained from a video buffer of the first screen. The first screen displays a first picture according to the display picture data. The first mobile video device converts the display picture data into a video data compliant to a video format, and transfers the video data to the second mobile video device according to a video communication protocol. The second mobile video device displays a second picture according to the received video data, and a displaying content of the second picture substantially includes a displaying content of the first picture.

Abstract: A character input method applicable to a handheld electronic device is provided. The character input method includes the following steps. Firstly, a motion path of the handheld electronic device is sensed. Next, the motion path is transformed into a stroke path. Afterward, an input character corresponding to the stroke path is recognized.

Abstract: A path calculation method based on location information is provided. The method is applied to a navigation device. In this method, the navigation device obtains information of a location transmitted by an electronic device. The location information is a text information or a picture. The navigation device obtains information of a coordinate contained in the location information, a starting road name to which its own location belongs and a corresponding starting point, as well as a navigation road name to which the coordinate information belongs and a corresponding navigation point. The navigation device then calculates a best navigation path according to the above information through a global positioning system (GPS). By this method, the navigation device may perform navigation path planning or calculation upon reading the location information, so as to shorten time for a user to input text and coordinates.

Abstract: A method for transforming a data stream and a communication system thereof are provided. In a second communication terminal, a padding data of the data stream of a first communication terminal is checked whether it corresponds to a default value so as to determine whether a first bit order used for the data stream of the first communication terminal is consistent with a second bit order used for a data stream of the second communication terminal. When the padding data does not correspond to the default value, the data stream transmitted from the first communication terminal is transformed from the first bit order to the second bit order by the second communication terminal.

Abstract: A method and a system for instantly translating text within an image are provided. The method and the system are suitable for using a service end device to translate text within the image captured by a portable communication device. First, the image is captured by the portable communication device, and then transmitted to the service end device through a communication network. Next, the text within the image is recognized and translated into translation text by the service end device. The translation text is transmitted back to the portable communication device through the communication network and displayed by the portable communication device. Thereby, a user can take an image at any time and get to know what it means immediately.

Abstract: An automatic paging paper shredder includes a cover provided at a top of the paper shredder, a paper supporting frame inclinedly extending to an underside of the cover, forming a paper entry channel between the paper supporting frame and the cover, wherein the paper entry channel having a bottom part that is narrower than an upper part of the paper entry channel, a master capstan provided on a middle part of the paper entry channel, a driving unit for driving the master capstan, and a knife shaft having a blade provided under the paper entry channel for shredding paper.

Abstract: A touch control input system and a signal generation method are provided. The touch control input system includes a touch control interface, a sensor unit, and a control unit. The touch control input system is featured by sectioning a plurality of blocks based on a plurality of grid lines for constructing the touch control interface so as to identify the displace movement of an external operator based on the blocks. The sensor unit functions to detect changes of logic states of the blocks. Accordingly, the control unit is able to identify the displace movement from one grid line to the other grid line through the detected changes of logic states, which in turn can be utilized to generate a displacement data for controlling electronic apparatuses.

Abstract: A method for inputting characters is provided. In the present invention, a touch-sensitive keypad is used for a hand-held electronic device to enter a text input mode. Multiple characters represented by a key are displayed by turns and repeatedly over a predefined period of time. Thus, the number of times for operating the keypad can be reduced and the efficiency of inputting characters can be improved. Further, the input of English alphabets and Arabic numerals can be switched automatically through alternatively displaying the characters. Therefore, the convenience of using a hand-held electronic device can be enhanced.

Abstract: A system to be used to add non-listed characters (i.e., characters not listed in character key-in methods) to the vocabulary banks of character-key-in methods used in hand-held mobile communication devices is disclosed. Users of a mobile communication device can select a character or characters which are built in the system but not indexed by a certain character-key-in method (that is, the characters cannot be keyed in with that character-key-in method), index the aforesaid characters, using the indexing system/method of the character-key-in method, and then add them to the key-in method's character-indexing system so that subsequent users of the mobile communication device can use said character-key-in method to key in said (originally non-indexed/listed) characters.

Abstract: A blade axle assembly for a shredder includes two parallel blade axles. Each of the blade axles has an elongated slots axially defined at an outer periphery of the blade axle. A spacing bar is mounted in the elongated slot. The spacing bar is alternatively formed with multiple teeth and recesses. Multiple blade units are mounted on the blade axles. Each of blade units has two blades. The blade has a central hole defined through the blade, and positioned in a corresponding recess of the spacing bar. The teeth and recesses of the two blade axles are staggered, so the blade units on the two blade axles are alternately arranged. Whereby, it is convenient to install the blade units. Moreover, a reinforcing bracket is mounted on the blade axles to improve its rigidity, so the blade axles will not be pressed outwards and can effectively shred paper.

Abstract: An apparatus for extending “phone book” records of a subscriber identification module (SIM) card comprising a detecting module for accessing a subscriber identification code (SIC) of the SIM card and a memory is provided. A storage window marked by the SIC is defined in the memory. As the user edits the “phone book” records of the SIM card, a portion of the records is stored in the marked storage window.

Abstract: A light spot control system, using a projection light of a projection device to initiate a control of a mobile communication device, includes an I/O unit and a processing unit. The I/O unit is used to receive the projection light. The processing unit is used to provide a time value and a position value. The time value is a duration of the projection light stayed at the I/O unit, and the position value is a position of the projection light stayed at the I/O unit. When the time value meets a default value, the respective position value is used to perform the control.
