A barrier structure at least partly surrounds the electrical connector. The electrical connector and the barrier structure are separated from the first fluid and the second fluid by the seal.

    Abstract: A straddle type vehicle includes a body cover having a side cover including a front member which covers a side of an engine, an upper member which covers a side of an area above the front member and of an area above and behind the front member and forward of a seat, and a rear member which covers an area below a side of the seat. The side cover is fastened to a body frame through a front fastening portion, a rear fastening portion, and an intermediate fastening portion positioned between the front and rear fastening portions. A shroud is arranged at a front portion of the side cover. The shroud includes an inner shroud supported by the body frame, and an outer shroud supported by the side cover. In such straddle type vehicle, the shroud can be fastened to a body frame through less number of fastening points.

    Abstract: An electrowetting display comprises a bottom support plate including pixel walls and a top support plate that includes spacers. The pixel walls and/or the spacers may be joined together to create a joined spacer and pixel wall before being fully cured. In some configurations, the pixel walls and the spacers are made from photoresist that is not fully cured before assembly of the display. After aligning the spacers over the pixel walls, the spacers and pixel walls are joined. In some configurations, the junction of the pixel walls and the spacers is exposed to UV light to more fully cure the photoresist. In addition, or alternatively to exposure to the UV light compressive force may be applied to fuse the pixel walls and spacers. The assembled display may also be exposed to a final bake to more fully cure the photoresist.

    Abstract: Using a single bobbin, this invention makes the respective turn counts of windings in an axial-air-gap rotating electric machine the same and minimizes the lengths of connecting wires between continuous windings regardless of the continuous turn count, the direction in which each winding is wound, and whether the number of stages is odd or even. The aforementioned bobbin, which has a tubular shape that substantially matches the exterior shape of a core, is provided with flanges that extend outwards from near the respective openings in the bobbin. One of said flanges has two first notches, and the other flange has at least one second notch. The axial positions of the starting ends and finishing ends of coils on adjacent stator cores are the same, and the flanges containing the notches through which the ends of said coils are run are on the same side with respect to the abovementioned openings.
