  • Publication number: 20080281513
Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and programs accept an area search condition that limits a facility search to facilities located within a specific position range. The apparatus, methods, and programs access stored facility data, the facility data including area information and position information for each facility in the stored facility data. Based on the stored area information, the apparatus, methods, and programs extract candidate facilities from the stored facility data that are located within an area that includes the specific position range and read out the position information for each of the extracted candidate facilities. Based on the read out position information, the apparatus, methods, and programs select the candidate facilities that are located within the specific position range for display.

  • Publication number: 20080063589
Abstract: The subject invention provides a stable mass production method of carbon nano structure at low cost immune to variation of particle diameter of the catalyst microparticle in the catalyst material. The subject invention also provides a production device used for the method, and a new carbon nano structure having a conformation suitable for the mass production. The production method of carbon nano structure comprising fluidizing a material gas and catalyst microparticles in the reactor so that the material gas and the catalyst microparticles are brought into contact with each other, wherein said catalyst microparticles are suspended by the instantaneous spraying of the high-pressure gas, and then the suspension effect of the catalyst microparticles is stopped so that the catalyst microparticles naturally fall. The particle diameter of the catalyst microparticles is thus selected. With this arrangement, only the selected catalyst microparticles with the desired diameter are supplied to the reactor.

  • Patent number: 7339177
Abstract: A radiation detector comprises an electrode structure, a planarising layer being disposed over the electrode structure and a protective stack which covers the planarising layer. The planarising layer evens out substantial differences between levels of the electrode structure above the substrate on which the electrode structure is disposed. Consequently, cracks, weak spots and other defects in the protective stack are to a large extent avoided. Because the planarising layer covers essentially the entire electrode structure, practically all sources of defects, notably cracks, in the protective stack are avoided.

  • Publication number: 20070037370
Abstract: Developed is high-efficiency synthesis method and apparatus capable of promoting the initial growth of carbon nanostructure by eliminating the initial fluctuation time and rising time in raw gas flow quantity. A high-efficiency synthesis method of carbon nanostructure according to the present invention is a high-efficiency synthesis method of carbon nanostructure, the method comprising: bringing raw material gas and a catalyst into contact with each other under reactive conditions so as to produce a carbon nanostructure, wherein: the initiation of contact of the raw material gas with the catalyst is carried out instantaneously. Reaction conditions such as temperature and raw material gas concentration are set so as to meet those for catalyst growth, and under the reaction conditions, the initiation of contact of raw material gas G with catalyst 6 is carried out instantaneously.

  • Patent number: 5347463
Abstract: Information code for conveying devices on which an item to be processed is placed has the data of the same item to be processed stored as a set in a memory. The information code inputted into a register undergoes tracking corresponding to the conveyance of the item to be processed. Accordingly, by referring to the identification code in the register and the contents of the memory, it is possible to know the data relating to an item to be processed and the position thereof.

  • Patent number: 5161237
Abstract: A display device operating in accordance with the reset principle provides an array of pixels formed by an array of picture electrodes on the facing surfaces of two substrates with an electro-optical display medium therebetween. A matrix of row and column electrodes apply selection and data signals to the pixels and a system of auxiliary electrodes arranged parallel to the column electrodes apply an auxiliary voltage to the pixels prior to the selection signals. The picture electrodes are electrically coupled to the column electrodes and to the auxiliary electrodes via a plurality of first and second switching units, respectively. The first and second switching units are arranged perpendicular and parallel, respectively, to the column electrodes whereby artifacts are prevented while a larger effective surface area of the pixels is also obtained.

  • Patent number: 4944992
Abstract: In a cushion which uses synthetic cotton formed of curled polyester fibers, the synthetic cotton is a mixture of first and second fibers having two different thicknesses. The fibers are three-dimensionally intertwined with air-passing space. The first fibers have the denier value of 20 or more, while the second fibers have the denier value of less than 20. The first and second fibers are mixed in the ratio of 0.5 to 2:1 by weight. These fibers of the synthetic cotton are bound at their intersections by means of a polyurethane binder such that the air-passing space is maintained.
