  • Patent number: 6659851
Abstract: A fastening device for a polishing paper cloth of a portable polishing machine. The device comprises an attaching portion which can be detachably attached to a base plate of the polishing machine and a fastening device main body for winding the polishing paper cloth thereon to engage therewith. Multiple concave grooves, which are continuous in the winding direction of the polishing paper cloth in parallel, and a cavity portion formed inside are provided. Therefore, by giving flexibility to the main body to allow it to be deformed in many directions, it is possible to prevent a reaction to the operator due to oscillation of the polishing machine generated during the polishing and to improve a discharging function for the polishing waste to the outside by allowing the polishing waste generated during the polishing to easily intrude in the concave grooves.

  • Publication number: 20030211798
Abstract: A stretchable warp knitted fabric comprising warp knitting yarns, first weft in-laid yarns and second weft in-laid yarns, and stretchable warp in-laid yarns. The second weft in-laid yarns consist of a plurality of at least non-stretchable yarns, and said second weft in-laid yarns run sequentially and separately in the course direction on different wale regions of the same course with having an arbitrary length respectively, while crossing the first weft in-laid yarns between courses. Consequently, even when pulled in a longitudinal direction, because the separate second weft in-laid yarns influence each other independently, the fabric does not have a great amount of ruffling in a width direction thereof and thus the a flat surface is maintained wherein there is no narrowing in the middle of the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 6610231
Abstract: The molding method for molded surface fastener for molding a flat substrate and a plurality of first engaging elements integrally and continously using the same molding material. According to the method, a cooling/transportation means for cooling and transporting a molded surface fastener at the same time when it is molded is driven and rotated in one direction and molten resin material is extruded continuously onto a cooling/transportation face through a resin extrusion path which extends in a width direction of an extrusion nozzle and which is open to said cooling/transportation face of said cooling/transportation means and opens in a transportation direction thereof. At this time, a plurality of the first engaging-element-molding openings spaced in the width direction of said resin extrusion path are opened and closed by means of at least a vertically vibrating member disposed on a front face of said extrusion nozzle in a resin transportation direction thereof.

  • Patent number: 6430786
Abstract: A synthetic resin opening and closing press fastener comprises a front side flat plate portion and a rear side flat plate portion which are attached to the end edges of a flat plate shaped attached body. One end of these portions are connected by means of a connecting portion that is a positioning portion of the end edge of the attached body, and has a number of male engaging elements of a surface fastener on the rear face of the rear side flat plate portion. In order to attach this opening and closing press fastener to the attached body, the fastener attaching end edge of the attached body is inserted from an open end of the front and rear side flat plate portions of the press fastener. When the above end edge abuts against the connecting portion, both of the flat plate portions are connected to each other via the attached body by means of synthetic resin pin members having at least engaging heads at one end.

  • Publication number: 20020100148
Abstract: Both sides of a fastener chain may be reinforced and an attachment object such as a bag or a case may be mounted in a stabilized condition. A reinforcement member, which is molded of thermoplastic resin, thermoplastic elastomer or synthetic rubber in the form of a turned-down U shape in its cross section and has an appropriate plasticity and flexibility, is bonded along both outer sides of a fastener chain with a thermal welding resin film. The reinforcement member has a mounting groove which enables a cloth of the attachment object such as the bag or the case to be mounted and further contains a concave groove for a sewing thread, provided in the surface thereof. The cloth of the attachment object is inserted into the mounting groove and sewed along the concave groove with a sewing thread. Consequently, the reinforcement member can be mounted simply in a stabilized condition and can ensure a long term use.
