Abstract: A pull tab comprises a metal link portion having a first end pivotally connected with a slider body and a second end adapted for connection with a pull tab body, a pull tab body made of natural products such as ivory, shell etc. having at one end a cross-sectional shape substantially identical with that of the second end of the link portion; and structure for connecting the other end of the link portion and the pull tab body. Various materials for the pull tab body are available to meet various tastes of consumers.

Abstract: A slide fastener slider comprises a pair of upper and lower wings joined integrally together at its front end by a diamond; and a pair of flanges disposed between the upper and lower wings and converged towards the rear end of the slider to thus define with the diamond a Y-shaped guide channel for running of fastener element rows therethrough. The slider further includes a plurality of large-diametered guide rollers rotatably mounted thereon for rolling engagement with the fastener element rows. The slider is specifically constructed such that there remain open spaces around the guide rollers, so that stringer tapes is quite immune from being stuck in the guide rollers.

Abstract: A key holder includes a holding strap composed of a row of coupling elements attached to a flexible core cord, each of the coupling element having a coupling head which is symmetric in shape about a longitudinal axis of said coupling element, an end stop mounted across opposite ends of the holding strap for connecting them while keeping the holding strap bent into a closed loop with the respective coupling heads of the coupling elements directed inwardly of the looped holding strap, and a slider slidably mounted on and movable along opposed ones of the coupling elements for taking them into and out of interdigitating engagement. With this construction, the loop of the holding strap can be adjusted by moving the slider to such an extent as to meet the user's desire or to conform to the number of keys to be held on the key holder.

Abstract: A fluid-tight slide fastener comprises a pair of stringer tapes each having an inner edge region, an outer edge region and a stretchable region intermediate between the two edge regions which are non-stretchable. The intermediate stretchable region yieldingly takes up any transverse stresses which would otherwise act upon the inner edge region to split apart the fastener halves and produce leakage therethrough.

Abstract: A method of producing a slide fastener wherein a series of fastener elements are secured to each of a pair of fastener tapes along one edge each thereof, each said fastener tape is formed thereon with a waterproof sealing layer, and when said series of fastener elements on each said pair of fastener tapes are engaged with each other, the edges of said waterproof sealing layers on each said pair of fastener tapes are press-contacted with each other so as to provide airtightness and waterproofness.

Abstract: A fluid-tight slide fastener comprises a pair of slide fastener halves each including a support tape, a row of continuous coupling elements extending longitudinally along the inner edge of the tape on one side thereof, and an elastomeric sealing member overlying the other side of the tape. The tape has a longitudinal ridge substantially defining the inner edge and supporting the row of coupling elements laterally longitudinally by means of stitching threads. A portion of the threads is disposed adjacent to the ridge to prevent the latter from moving remotely from the coupling elements row for thereby supporting the ridge intimately enough to ensure the abuttment of opposed sealing edges of the tapes when the fastener halves are coupled together.

Abstract: A laser apparatus for operations comprises a power case containing a power supply, etc., a laser tube container head located over the power case, means for supporting the laser tube container head so as to permit rotation in a horizontal plane and in a manner to enable seesaw motion in a vertical plane, a longitudinally telescoping light guide tube attached longitudinally to the laser tube container head, mirror joints connected with the light guide tube, and a manipulator connected detachably with the mirror joints.
