  • Publication number: 20070050417
Abstract: In a storage system, a multi-site management system receives a fault notification related to a copy in one or more storage devices from a storage management system, then it requests a storage management system which manages a storage device having a volume in a pair of volumes associated with the fault to transmit information on the pair of volumes. Upon receipt of the transmission request, the storage management system transmits volume pair information to the multi-site management system. The multi-site management system requests storage devices to transmit connection information representing connection topology thereof. Upon receipt of the request for the connection information, each storage management system transmits the connection information associated storage device to the multi-site management system. The multi-site management system identifies a relay path between the pair of volumes associated with the fault from the received connection information, and displays the relay path to the outside.

  • Publication number: 20070017309
Abstract: A vehicle has an engine, an accelerator for controlling the rotary speed of the engine, an axle and a multi-speed transmission for transmitting power from the engine to the axle. The multi-speed transmission includes an odd-numbered speed drive train for an odd-numbered speed level, a first clutch for the odd-numbered speed drive train, an even-numbered speed drive train for an even-numbered speed level, and a second clutch for the even-numbered speed drive train. In correspondence to operation of the accelerator and an actual speed of the axle, either the odd-numbered speed drive train or the even-numbered speed drive train is selected so as to transmit power from the engine to the axle. A shift-up or shift-down timing between the odd-numbered speed level and the even-numbered speed level relative to variation of the actual speed of the axle is changed according to detection of a tilt angle of the vehicle or a weight of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7137469
Abstract: A running power transmission mechanism for a vehicle for transmitting drive power from a driving source to a pair of steering wheels and a pair of non-steering wheels. A main-HST outputs synchronized drive power to the steering and non-steering wheels. The non-steering wheels are driven differentially by the main-HST through a gear mechanism. A sub-HST changes the speed of the drive power inputted via a steering-wheel drive output shaft and outputs the drive power to the steering wheels. The steering wheels are driven differentially by the sub-HST through a gear mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20060196719
Abstract: A transmission for speed changing and steering of a vehicle comprises a first HST and a first differential for speed changing and a second HST and a second differential for steering. The first HST is a combination of a hydraulic pump and motor. The pump is driven by an engine and the motor is drivingly changeable by operation of a speed change pedal. Output power from the motor is transmitted into a pair of first differential output shafts as axles through the first differential. The second HST is a combination of a hydraulic pump and motor. The second pump is driven by output power from the first HST and the second motor is drivingly changeable by operation of a steering wheel. A pair of second differential output shafts are rotated in opposite directions by output power of the motor, so that when turning, the first differential output shaft on the opposite side of the turning direction is accelerated.
